The Juke R was unveiled at the Qashqai press event in Malaga, Spain today where it impressed the crowds and continued generating a huge reaction.
Mazda TAKERI Concept Previews next gen Mazda6
Mazda has confirmed the fact that it will premiere the TAKERI Concept at the 42nd edtion Tokyo Motor Show in November 30th.
Through the Mazda TAKERI the Japanese automaker is previewing the next-gen mid-size saloon, and we’re talking about the new Mazda6, with some of the highlights on this car including the company’s first regenerative braking system in combination with the SKYACTIV Technology.

In order to decide which is better, Tiff Nedell has brought triple British Rally Champion, Mark Higgins to the show, and after they took the cars for a lap around the race track these are their results.
Mercedes F 125 Presentation
Daimler has recently published a presentation video for the Mercedes F 125, their latest concept unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show last month.
The car represents the automaker’s vision of emission free driving and hints at what a ‘vehicle could look like in two generations’. The F 125’s body uses a hybrid lightweight design consisting of a mix between carbon fiber, aluminium and high strength steel, while its powertrain integrates hydrogen fuel cels that feature a plug-in system.
2012 Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel Review
FifthGear wanted to see what the fecelift version 2012 Jaguar XF is all about, with their attention directed mainly at the model’s new 2.2-litre Diesel engine. They were so interested in testing this version because Jaguar claims this 4-cylinder 2.2-litre turbo diesel is the most efficient engine the automaker has ever made.
Thanks to this plant the 2012 Jaguar XF 2.2D returns 52 mpg and has CO2 levels of 149 g/Km, while in terms of performance it delivers 190 PS and 332 lb-ft of torque.
Opel Astra GTC gets Panoramic Windscreen
The new Opel Astra GTC has just received a cool new feature : a panoramic windscreen which enables “heavenly views and cinematic vistas” that is also adding a further luxurious note to the car.
This large windscreen stretches all the way to the middle of the car’s roof and in contrast to other glass roofs, this one has no transverse spar that reduces visibility. Opel says that passengers in the rear will also be able to enjoy something similar to what pilots experience under light plane canopies, and if this optional extra is something that you want for your Astra GTC the you should know that it costs 1,200 Euro including tax.
Video: 120 mph Ford Focus vs Concrete Wall
FifthGear is following on ‘eye opening’ destructive research path that aims to show what 120 mph will do to a car if that car hits a concrete wall.
For this test they have chosen an old Ford Focus, in which they have not fitted traditional slash expensive test crash dummies, but shop front mannequins, which are still enough to demonstrate what it might be like for humans to experience a head-on 120 mph incident.
2012 Audi A6 in Untitled Jersey City Project Trailer
You might remember the mini movie series featuring Justin Timberlake through which the Germans from Audi promoted the A1 right after the small hatch went on sale.
Well Audi’s models, and the new A6 in particular are now part of a bigger experiment co-developed with FX, which is called the Untitled Jersey City Project. We’re talking about a work-in-progress television drama that pays attention to the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront area that is right across the river from Manhattan.
Maserati Cinqueporte Details
The Italians from alVolante.it are reporting the fact that Maserati has registered the Cinqueporte name and logo. This leads us to belive that this is how the production version Maserati Kubang, first seen at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, will be called.
This is only speculation at this point, as instead of using the name for the upcoming SUV, Maserati could instead use the Cinqueporte badge for a different model, so an official statement would welcomed in order to clear the mystery 🙂
2012 BMW S1000RR
BMW is introducing the 2012 S1000RR, the new and improved version of their successful supersports bike that was first launched in 2009.
According to the company the bike incorporates feedback from national super stock races and the main aspects that that were improved were riding precision, agility, power buildup and response.
