Mitsubishi i-MiEV European spec
The European spec version Mitsubishi i-MiEV is scheduled to debut at this year’s edition Paris Motor Show, and this new version will be part of 12 vehicles on display at the automaker’s stand.
The Mitsubishi i-MiEV European spec version will have a price tag of around 33,000 and 35,000 Euro without government incentives. The price includes the batteries and more details regarding its technology will be made public at the time of the show.
Infiniti M Hybrid and IPL G Coupe
Nissan has also announced the new Infiniti models that will premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show in November.
On November 18th, visitors will get introduced to the 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid which is based on the Infiniti M Sedan and which will hit the market in spring 2011.
The 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid promises performance levels equivalent to a 4-cylinder V8 powered sedans, without making compromises when it comes to driving experience and luggage space.
Nissan Ellure concept announced
The Japanese company has announced its vehicle lineup for the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show which will include three world debuts.
The 2010 L.A. Motor Show will start November 17th and the main highlight will be the Nissan Ellure concept which is a new sedan with dramatic design that wants to distinguish itself in the segment through its ‘progressive and distinctive expression’.
JMS Audi A5 S-line
JMS Racelook has cooperated with another German tuner, Senner Tuning, and created this custom Audi A5 S-line.
At the exterior the JMS Audi A5 S-line comes with styling elements like a front under spoiler, priced at 269 Euro, a sporty rear apron, added for 269 Euro, plus a 4-pipe exhaust system from Senner that costs 1,090 Euro.
Top Gear replaces Stig
As you all know Top Gear’s test driver, the Stig has been recently uncovered as being Ben Collins. What you might not know is that Top Gear has already replaced Stig, by another driver who’s identity is obviously being kept secret.
The show’s tame racing driver has been discovered as being Ben Collins after the Formula 3 driver has breached his contract by choosing to publish his autobiography which will be out on September 16.
Mazda Shinari
The Japanese car maker unveiled the Mazda Shinari concept in-front of media representatives present at an event held in Milan, Italy.
The Shinari concept is a 4-door coupe which hints at Mazda’s new direction in terms of styling was developed by the automaker’s design studio in U.S., Germany and Japan.
Mini Cooper S Diesel
We’ve came across information that says Mini is planning to launch the Mini Cooper S Diesel in 2011.
The Mini Cooper S Diesel will be a performance version which will offer 143 HP and 300 Nm of torque, and its powerplant is developed based on BMW’s N47 unit that has a 1.6-litre capacity. This new engine producing 143 HP will not only be used on the Mini Cooper S Diesel but also on the Countryman model, although the news has not been officially confirmed by the automaker.
Vorsteiner Porsche 911 Turbo
The North American tuner has launched their latest aerodynamic upgrades for the Porsche 911 Turbo which are offered inside a kit called the V-RT.
The Vorsteiner Porsche 911 Turbo weights than the regular version due to the dry carbon fiber that has been used, and this means an improved power to weight ratio.
Volvo 1.6-litre T3 and T4 petrol engines with 150 HP and 180 HP
Volvo is introducing the company’s new 1.6-litre T3 and T4 petrol engines which feature the latest direct injection technology, offering 150 HP and 180 HP respectively and which feature improved fuel consumption figures.
The new 1.6-litre GTDi 4-cylinder T3 petrol unit that packs 150 HP (110 kW) and 240 Nm of torque as well as the new 1.6 GTDi T4 producing 180 HP (132 kW) and 240 Nm of torque (270 Nm with overboost) will be offered on the new Volvo S60 and V60 models.
2012 Mazda6 info
More news coming from the British press, this time referring to the 2012 Mazda6 which will come with many new features if comparing to the current generation.
The 2012 Mazda6 is be developed on the automaker’s future multi-purpose platform which means it will have a new chassis and a improved suspension plus a new 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 2012 Mazda6 will also come with new petrol and diesel engines among which a 2.0-litre petrol with CO2 emissions of 130g/Km and a 2.2-litre Sky diesel that promises emissions of 105 grams of CO2 per Km.
