Hyundai ix20 MPV
The Korean company announced the highlights at the Hyundai stand for this year’s edition Paris Motor Show.
The first premiere will be the Hyundai ix20 MPV which can be viewed in this single image released today, and all we know about it so far is that its design is intended to step away from the usual ‘boxy’ minivan aspect.
2011 Dodge Durango – photos and details
Official photos and details with the Chrysler’s new seven-seater crossover, the 2011 Dodge Durango, have just been released.
Starting with the engine options, customers will be able to fit Chrysler’s 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 on their 2011 Dodge Durango, or the more powerful 5.7-litre HEMI, both units available with AWD and towing capacities of 6,200 lbs and 7,400 lbs respectively.
Je Design 2011 VW Touareg
The German tuner has released full details and photos with custom 2011 VW Touareg which was announced a while back.
The Je Design 2011 VW Touareg comes with a wide-body kit that includes a new radiator grille, new spoilers, wider wheel arches and a rear roof spoiler. The exterior is also enhanced by the fact that the Je Design 2011 VW Touareg has also received a new exhaust system with 90 mm dual tailpipes, and custom alloy wheels.
Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso facelift
Photos and details with the facelift versions Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso have just been released by the French automaker.
The Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso facelift debut the company’s restyled logo and besides the technological and aesthetic improvements, the new models also come with LED lights and a new e-HDi motorisation.
Toyota Verso-S
The Japanese car maker announced that it will premiere the Toyota Verso-S, a new MPV for the B-segment, at this year’s Paris Motor Show.
The Toyota Verso-S is expected to be launched on the market at the beginning of 2011, and the car which measures less then 4.0 meters represents an ‘object lesson in space management’. The Toyota Verso-S features a smart design with a spacious interior and unfortunately this is pretty much all we can say about it, as technical details will remain secret until the car’s public unveil.
Superchips BMW X5 3.0D
A new ECU remap from Superchips, this time increasing output on the BMW X5 3.0D model, but which is also applicable to the 3-series, 5-series, 7-series, GT, X5 and X6 from 2009 onwards.
The Superchips BMW X5 3.0D has gained an additional 44 bhp @ 4,183 rpm and 90 Nm of torque @ 2,222 rpm due to the revised engine electronics, so this means that instead of 245 bhp, the 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine from under the bonnet now packs 313 bhp and 549 Nm (457 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm to 4,500 rpm.
Suzuki Swift price
UK pricing for the 2011 Suzuki Swift which will go on sale starting this week has been announced.
The 2011 Suzuki Swift is available in three versions (SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4) with the base model featuring a 1.2-litre 93 PS engine that is Euro 5 compliant and has CO2 emissions of 116 grams per Km. Fuel consumption figures have also been improved as the 2011 Suzuki Swift returns an average of 56.5 mpg (UK rating).
Ford Explorer Police Interceptor
You’ve send the Taurus based Police car for which we’ve published details and photos a while back, and now Ford is introducing a second Police Interceptor vehicle, this time based on the 2011 Ford Explorer.
The Ford Explorer Police Interceptor will uses the automaker’s 3.5-litre Ti-VCT V6 engine producing over 280 HP which will send power to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox, with both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions being available.

Another upgrade program from Anderson Germany, this time for the Mercedes CL65 AMG Black Edition which packs more horses and looks even more exclusive.
The power gain features by the V12 unit powering the The Mercedes CL65 AMG Black Edition by Anderson Germany was made possible thanks to optimised engine electronics, sports air filters and a sport exhaust system. The Mercedes CL65 AMG Black Edition by Anderson Germany also comes with racing catalysors and the result is a total output of 670 horsepower.
BMW E30 review video
Even thought this next review video featuring the classic BMW E30 is ‘home made’, it still brings back good memories, and many of you won’t deny that this was one of the best cars from the 80’s.
If the BMW E30 318i featured in the video was produced between 1984 – 1985 then it has a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 101 HP @ 5,800 rpm and 103 lb-ft of torque @ 4,500 rpm. It has a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 11.6 seconds while its top speed is 111 mph. Fuel consumption for the BMW BMW E30 380i is 23/38 mpg with the manual version and the car’s curb weight of 2360 lbs.
