Kia Optima Hybrid video
The first official video with the Kia Optima Hybrid has also been released, and in case you missed it, the car was introduced at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show last week.
Powered by a 2.4-litre petrol engine that is backed by a 30 kW electric motor the 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid generates a combined output of 209 PS and 265 Nm of torque, and thanks to its six-speed automatic transmission, the car can hit 62 mph (100 Km/h) from a stand still in 9.2 seconds.
Toyota RAV4 EV video
After unveiling the Toyota RAV4 EV at the L.A. Auto Show last week, the Japanese car maker has also published the first video that shows static and dynamic footage of their electrical SUV built in collaboration with Tesla.
At this point we know that the Toyota RAV4 EV weights 220 lbs more than the regular V6 model and that its lithium metal oxide batteries are able to produce 30 to 35 kW. The Toyota RAV4 EV is also expected to cover 160 kilometers on one charge and when sprinting from 0 to 100 Km/h the car requires 6.7 seconds.
2012 Nissan GT-R price
Pricing for the 2012 Nissan GT-R has been announced over the weekend, as the facelift version of Godzilla which will go on sale across the United States early in 2011, has premiered at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Powered by a 3.8-litre V6 developing 530 HP (390 kW) @ 6,400 rpm and 612 Nm of torque between 3,200 to 6,000 rpm, the 2012 Nissan GT-R features revised exterior elements like a new front bumper, a slightly revamped rear end and 20 inch forged alloys, while the interior has also been upgraded with higher quality materials.
Caractere Exclusive Porsche Panamera
Mostly known for its VW and Audi customization kits, Belgian tuner Caractere Exclusive has teamed up with Dynatek and created up upgrade program for the Porsche Panamera.
On the visual side the Caractere Exclusive Porsche Panamera comes with a modified front bumper, new side skirts, a second spoiler at the rear, and a new bumper that now features air scoops.
The Caractere Exclusive Porsche Panamera sits on 22 inch CW1 Graphite or Silver alloys, which are also available in size 21 inch, and as far as performance enhancements, the German four-seater is now producing 605 PS and 840 Nm of torque, instead of 500 PS and 700 Nm like the stock model.
Jaguar C-X75 review video
Jaguar’s newest creation, the C-X75, is an impressive Concept that debuted at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year, and which is also being showcased these days at the 2010 Los Angles Auto Show, has been reviewed by Jay Leno recently so here is the video that shows just that.
Powered by four electric motor (packing a total of 145 kW and backed by lithium ion batteries) and two micro gas turbines that can use either LPG, natural gas of biofuel, the Jaguar C-X75 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds, or from 0 to 186 mph in 15.7 seconds, although unfortunately Jay’s review video won’t show any of that.
2011 Subaru Legacy Sports Tourer price
Pricing for the 2011 Subaru Legacy Sports Tourer has been announced and according to the Japanese automaker, availability in UK’s market will start from December 2010.
The 2011 Subaru Legacy Sports Tourer price starts at 41,995 Euro and power us provided by a Boxer Diesel engie 1,998 cc in capacity which delivers 150 PS and 350 Nm of torque and which features a number of improvements that result in a 12 percent lowering of the NOx emissions which also means the car now complies with the Euro 5 emission standards.
2011 Hyundai Elantra price
As the 2011 Hyundai Elantra is about to arrive at dealerships across U.S. soon (US spec model shown at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show), the Korean automaker decided to announce its pricing.
With power extracted from a 1.8-litre ‘Nu’ engine that produces 148 HP and 138 lb-ft of torque, the 2011 Hyundai Elantra is available with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission, and promises consumption figures of 40 mpg on the highway and 29 mpg in the city.
speedART TITAN EVO Porsche Cayenne
At this year’s Essen Motor Show, German tuner speedART will present the Porsche Cayenne based speedART TITAN EVO body kit which can already be previewed in the photo gallery below.
Besides the speedART TITAN EVO Porsche Cayenne the tuner will also reveal the strongest 997 Turbo with PDK, called the speedART BTR-II 650 EVO, and the PS9-580 project based on the Panamera Turbo.
The speedART BTR-II 650 EVO kit features aerodynamically optimized body parts wich include aggressive looking front and rear spoilers, wider fender flairs, new side skirts and an integrated rear diffuser. The speedART BTR-II 650 EVO has also received a sport exhaust system with sound switch control ans twin tailpipes measuring 100 mm in diameter plus a set of 23 inch CTS-FORGED alloys.
2011 Citroen C4 price
The 2011 Citroen C4 price has just been announced, as the French automaker has released full details with their new generation hatchback which will go on sale across UK next year in January.
Available in three equipment grades (VTR, VTR+ and Exclusive), the 2011 Citroen C4 will come fitted on the entry-level version with six airbags, ESP, Hill Start Assist, manual air conditioning, electric front windows, a six-speaker Surround Sound audio system and cruise control.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante is a open top version of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera which features reduced weight and which premiered at the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show.
This convertible Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante tips the scale at 1,485 Kg and its V10 engine remains unchanged, which means it delivers 570 HP @ 8,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante spins all-four wheels via s 6-speed sequential e-Gear transmission and takes 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h, meaning it is 0.1 seconds faster than the Gallardo Spyder.
