US pricing for the new Fiat 500 has just been announced, and the small Italian car will be showcased between November 17 to 28 at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Fiat 500 US price starts at 15,500 USD and the three available trim levels will be Pop, Sport and Lounge. The engine found on each of those versions is a 1.4-litre MultiAir unit producing 101 HP which links to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and some of the standard features include the Blue&Me hands-free communication system, seven airbags and reactive head restraints.

Land Rover is introducing a limited edition Discovery 4 called Landmark, which features unique Black and White colour themes and which will start selling in January 2011.

The Land Rover Discovery 4 Landmark is offered with the automaker’s Terrain Response TM system and power will be provided by the new 3.0-litre SDV6 twin turbo diesel engine which is 9 percent more fuel efficient and emits with 10 percent less CO2 than the old 2.7-litre engine.

The Swedish company has officially unveiled the 2011 Saab 9-4X at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show, and the new crossover is scheduled to go on sale in US in May.

The 2011 Saab 9-4X features the ‘Progressive Scandinavian design’ inspired by the Aero X concept and some of its elements include bi-xenon headlights, a dual exhaust system, 18-inch 6-spoke design alloys and a dark protective applique on the lower body.

The 2011 Saab 9-4X also features a wraparound-effect windshield and a a ‘hockey stick’ waistline while under its bonnet the automaker has fitted a 3.0-litre V6 that develops 265 HP and which enables the new crossover to sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in 9.0 seconds.

Te British manufacturer has recently released full details and hi-res photos with their 2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-door version, and the car will be showcased these days at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-door captures the same compact design as the 2-door model, and has features like permanent all-wheel-drive, multi-terrain capability thanks to the Land Rover Terrain Response system, and a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under its bonnet.

A new addition to the Optima range at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show where the Korean manufacturer has revealed the 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid.

With a powertrain much like the one on the Sonata Hybrid, the 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid features a 2.4-litre petrol engine and a 30 kW electric motor combined with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This system which offers a total of 209 PS and 265 Nm of torque, enables the 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid return an average 40.7 mpg on the the highway while in terms of performance it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 121 mph.

Another electric vehicle debuting at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, and this time we’te talking about the Honda Fit EV Concept.

The Honda Fit EV Concept is based on the current generation Fit, known as Jazz on the European market, and the car hints (in terms of design and technology) at the production version Fit EV which is expected to enter the Japanese and American market in 2012.

The Honda Fit EV Concept uses a lithium-ion battery and a coaxial electric motor for propulsion, and according to Honda, the car can cover 100 miles on a single charge and can reach speeds of up to 90 mph.

Toyota has unveiled the RAV4 EV at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, and the car represents a collaboration between the Japanese car maker and Tesla.

No official data regarding performance and driving range has been released, however the Toyota RAV4 EV is currently under testing with lithium metal oxide batteries which are expected to deliver around 30 to 35 kW.

Expected to go on sale sometime in 2012 the Toyota RAV4 EV weights with 220 lbs more than the V6 equipped version, so as you can imagine, the car’s suspension and steering had to be retuned. When compared to the current RAV4 the Toyota RAV4 EV features a new front fascia and a slightly redesigned rear end, LED fog-lamps and 18 inch alloys.

The German car maker has released photos and details with the 2012 BMW 650i Convertible, however don’t get confused, as the drop-top 6 Series will not be present at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show.

We’ve seen some spy photos with the 2012 BMW 650i Convertible a while back, around which speculations have been made, but now we know for sure that power will get provided by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 which unleashes 400 HP @ 6,400 rpm and 450 lb-ft of torque between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm.

The Subaru Impreza Design Concept has been revealed through a single image that was just released by the Japanese manufacturer, while the car will be seen on display at the Subaru stand between November 19 to 28.

In terms of design the Subaru Impreza Design Concept hints at Subaru’s future production model, and starting with the front, the car looks like a more refined Legacy, with an aggressive new grille and large air intakes, and LED fins that serve as fog lights and which remind of the ones on the 911 Turbo.

Nissan’s new family MPV will also premiere at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show, which meant that the automaker had to release more details and new photos plus it also announced the 2011 Nissan Quest price.

Available with r equipment grades (S, SV, SL and LE) the 2011 Nissan Quest will feature a 3.5-litre DOCH V6 engine under its skin, which is rated at 253 HP and 236 lb-ft of torque. Other mechanical details indicate that the 2011 Nissan Quest uses a 4-wheel independent suspension, brakes through 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) while steering is done through a vehicle-speed-sensitive power-assisted rack-and-pinion design.
