The Japanese automaker has finally released the 0 to 60 acceleration time for the 2012 Nissan GT-R and it looks like Godzilla has gotten alot quicker.

And by alot we mean 0.5 seconds faster that the previous 485 HP generation, as the 2012 Nissan GT-R which uses a 530 HP twin turbo V6, now takes 3.0 seconds flat to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph.

The 2012 Nissan GT-R 0 to 60 acceleration time was measured at the Sendai Hi-land Race Way on November 12th and 13th on Sunny/Cloudy weather, with temperatures ranging between 15 and 19 degrees Celsius.

Land Rover is launching the limited edition Freelander 2 SD4 Sport which features unique additions to its exterior and interior styling.

The Land Rover Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition is available with three distinct body colours (Fuji White, Santorini black and Firenze Red) while for the interior the automaker has prepared two design themes with contrasting colours (ebony and ivory or ebony and pimento).

Other visual enhancements added to the Land Rover Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition include a black finish front grille and side vents, a slightly redesigned front bumper and rear spoiler, 19 inch Shadow Chrome alloys, and body coloured door handles and mirror caps. The interior also gets Ebony carpet mats.

Performance specialists from Wimmer RS are back with a new tuning program, which this time turns the strongest Porsche 911, the GT2 RS into an even meaner machine.

After receiving bigger turbos, a modified air intake system, sport air filters, a valve controlled sports exhaust system and tweaking of the throttle valve, the Wimmer Porsche 911 GT2 RS is capable of producing 703 HP, which means an 83 HP increase over the standard model, and 810 Nm of maximum torque.

The Rinspeed BamBoo represents a concept car which will be revealed by the Swiss company at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show which will run from March 3rd to 13th.

The Rinspeed BamBoo is a ‘grown-up golf cart’ and as the name suggests, many of its interior components are made from bamboo fibers. However this is not some kind of weight saving measure, as the idea behind the Rinspeed BamBoo was to create an open top vehicle, light and easy to maneuver, reminiscent of the 70s for people who love the summer and the beach.

It didn’t take long for the German automaker to also release the first videos with the 2012 Audi A6, and the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid.

With an overall balanced designed, that looks elegant, and inline with the rest of Audi’s model range, the 2012 Audi A6 will be offered with five engine choices out of which the most powerful will be the 3.0-litre TFSI petrol producing 300 HP and 440 Nm of torque which is able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and also able to reach a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 Km/h). This 3.0 TFSI V6 version 2012 Audi A6 will require 8.2-litres of fuel per 100 Km (26.68 mpg) while its CO2 emission levels are 190 grams per Km, (305.78 g/mile).

Pricing for the 2011 Chevrolet Orlando has been announced, as the new MPV will hit the UK dealerships in Spring.

The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando will be available in three trim levels (LS, LT, LTZ), with three engine choices to choose from, out of which one is petrol and two are diesels.

The petrol version 2011 Chevrolet Orlando uses a 1.8-litre engine which produces 141 PS while the diesels are represented by a 2.0-litre plant which can output either 130 PS or 163 PS.

Pricing for the new Toyota Etios exclusively built for the Indian market has been announced, as the automaker is starting to accept orders for their new compact model.

The Toyota Etios sedan was been developed over a 5-year period by Indian engineers with direct consumer input and aimed towards the needs of middle class consumers, and starting from April the manufacturer wants to introduce the hatchback version as well, which will be called the Toyota Etios Liva.

Engine production for the Toyota Etios will begin in autumn 2012 while the Etios transmission production is scheduled to begin in 2013.
