2013 Opel Calibra Cabrio info
Details design sketches with the 2012 Opel Calibra have started to circulate around the Internet in the last few weeks, and now we have info on a new Insignia based variant, the Calibra Coupe, which is expected to debut in 2013.
Measuring around 4.8 meters from one end to the other, the 2013 Opel Calibra Cabrio will come as an alternative to the Audi A5 and BMW 3 Series, with a platform based on the Opel GTC concept unveiled in Geneva in 2007.
Citroen DS3 vs Honda CRZ video
Fuel efficiency and performance are terms that most of the time do not go well in the same sentence. As you know there are models that are trying to achieve both, like the Citroen DS3 or the Honda CRZ, and in this next video the crew from FifthGear is trying to find out which of the two is faster on a track.
The Citroen DS3 packs 110 horsepower and is able to sprint from nought to 62 mph (100 Km/h) in 9.8 seconds, while the Honda CRZ has a few more horses, 112 HP to be exact and a 14 HP electrical motor , but its a little slower when accelerating from 0 to 62 mph, as it needs 10.1 seconds.
Top Gear: Bowler Nemesis EXR video
This video is part of Top Gear’s Apocalypse DVD and it presents the bad-ass, street legal Bowler Nemesis EXR in a series of tests in which Richard Hammond is a football player trying to get away with not being photographed by paparazzi.
The Bowler Nemesis EXR is a Range Rover based, 5.0-litre V8 powered Dakar challenger with a supercharged, packing 523 bhp and able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in close to 5.0 seconds.
Video: Nissan LEAF production
As production for the new Nissan LEAF has started at the Oppama plant in Japan, the automaker has released a video in which it shows the assembly process for their all-new 100 percent electric, zero emission model.
The new Nissan LEAF will go on sale across Japan and USA in December 2010 and in Europe in early 2011, and apart from the Oppama plant, the automaker also plans to start producing the new EV at the Smyrna plant in 2012 and Sunderland in 2013.

Fast cars are usually involved in Golf as sponsors, but this time we have a Lamborghini Gallardo involved in an ‘ecceleration’ test against a golf ball over a 250 meters straight line.
The Lamborghini Gallardo gets a rolling start while Australian golfer Stuart Appleby uses the new Callaway Diablo Octane club to hit the golf ball straight.
We understand that the purpose of this video was for obvious marketing reasons, as the Italian supercar maker has collaborated in the development of the Callaway Diablo Octane driver, but nevertheless the outcome (which was hopefully unscripted) is pretty cool.
STaSIS Audi R8 V10 Spyder review video
It seems like much of today’s stories are about reviews and test drives, just like this latest video from The Smoking Tire, in which Matt Farah hits the canyons with the STaSIS Audi R8 V10 Spyder.
With additional power provided by modifications like a supercharger and a sports exhaust system, the STaSIS Audi R8 V10 Spyder can unleash a total of 710 HP and 523 lb-ft of torque, figures that help improve the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time to 3.1 seconds.

We’ve seen the German automaker tease the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle’s shape on the Oprah Winfrey Show , but things get much more clearer thanks to this new spy video which shows the next generation model without any camouflage.
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has been spied during road tests, and even though details are scarce, we already known the car will be offered with features like Bluetooth and a touch screen display at the interior, 19 inch alloys, dual exhaust pipes, sport seats and an upgraded suspension.
Mercedes SLR McLaren Edition video
Even thought production for the SLR McLaren came to an end in 2009, the German automaker decided to introduce an updated, limited run version called the Mercedes SLR McLaren Edition, which debuted at this year’s Essen Motor Show.
With only 25 exemplar to be produced, the Mercedes SLR McLaren Edition will uses the same 5.4-litre V8 plant as before, which means its power level will be 620 BHP, but with improvements made in terms of handling and aerodynamics.
Porsche 911 GT2 RS test drive video
The latest test drive video with the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS comes courtesy of Gordon Robertson (chief driving consultant of the Porsche Experience Center), who drove the fastest version of the 911 on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
With a peak power output of 620 HP (562 bhp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, is able to rocket from nought to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds, and from 0 to 124 mph in 9.8 seconds. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS has a top speed of 205 mph (330 Km/h) and each of the 500 units produced had a starting price tag of 199,500 Euro.
