2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Announced
Abarth, the Italian racing car maker has announced that it will debut the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth at this year’s LA Auto Show .
The car, which is also going to be sold in America, remains faithful to the saying ‘small but wicked’ which in other words means it will have an aggressive appearance, with a high power to weight ratio and also that it will be available in limited numbers.

2012 Renault Pulse
Renault has unveiled the first official images with the 2012 Pulse, a new compact developed especially for the Indian market. This new model was created by the automaker’s Design Center in Mumbai and it’s market release date is scheduled for January next year.
The 2012 Renault Pulse targets “young, upwardly mobile urban customers” and is equipped with a 1.5 dCi engine that promises a high level of efficiency and performance. Both the car and the engine are built in Chennai, the first dedicated Renault-Nissan manufacturing plant in India.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Announced
Here’s some good news for those who like car themed video games. Rockstar Games is working on the fifth installment of Grand Theft Auto, and have published a countdown banner on their site which informs the world that a first trailer will be available on November 2nd.
A release date for Grand Theft Auto 5 remains unknown at this point, but various sources mention 2012 as the year when games will be able to purchase it, due to the fact that Rockstar is waiting for the new Xbox and PlayStation platforms to be launched.

Saab Sold to the Chinese from Pang Da and Youngman
In a short press release that was just made public the Swedish from Saab are announcing the fact that they have signed a momorandum of understanding through which they agree on selling all of their shares to the Chinese from Pang Da and Youngman.
The shares of both Saab Automobile AB (Saab Automobile) and Saab Great Britain Ltd. (Saab GB) will be sold to the Chinese from Pang Da and Youngman for 100 million Euros paid in installments, who agreed in providing long term funding to Saab.

Peugeot Announces Re-Generation Model via Teaser Video
Peugeot will launch a new model next Wednesday (November 2nd 2011), something which they describe as being sophisticated, radically new and efficient, but without mentioning more or showing an actual image of what to expect.
The French company is also being secretive about the name of their upcoming car, and due to the fact that their teaser video uses the world ‘re-generation’, we can’t be quite sure if this will be a an expansion of their lineup or an new generation model.

Production for the North American Mitsubishi i-MiEV Starts
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that production for the North American version Mitsubishi i-MiEV started today.
The company’s new electric vehicle will be assembled at the Mizushima Plant, with the model expected to be available in Hawaii and the states of California, Washington, and Oregon starting from October, and from then on Mitsubishi will expand sales in other US regions and Canada by the end of 2012.

Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro Concepts for SEMA 2011
Chevrolet has prepared a lineup of concepts for the 2011 edition of SEMA in order to showcase the different approaches in terms of performance and appearance for the company’s popular sports cars.
First up is the Chevrolet Camaro Red Zone Concept which uses a combination of contemporary and classic in terms of style, with some of its features including the heritage-inspired stripe graphic, the 21 inch silver/polished-face wheels, a body coloured grille, lowered suspension and the RS underhood liner. The interior for this car has been enhanced with titanium leather and silver ice accents plus a Black soft instrument panel.

Toyota FT-86 Production Version Leaked
The long awaited production version Toyota FT-86 has finally been revealed leaked, so here are two photos that show the front and rear of the car, as well as its interior.
According for AutoWeek, we have to thank Modellista, one of Toyota’s tuning partners for these leaked images, so it looks like the automaker’s big surprise for this year’s Tokyo Motor Show has practically been ruined (as it often happens in the auto industry).

2012 Audi A4 Facelift
Audi has officially unveiled the facelifted A4 sedan and its derivatives, the A4 Avant, the A4 Allroad and the S4.

Chrysler and Fiat Ready for SEMA 2011
Chrysler has also confirmed their customised vehicle lineup for the 2011 edition of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association).
