Lamborghini Jota 3rd teaser
The 3rd Lamborghini Jota teaser (which means there are three more to go until we get to see the real thing) has just been released.
Just like the second Lamborghini Jota teaser, we get to see more carbon fiber parts, this time with something that looks like it belongs at the interior.
What we know so far is that this lightweight version Gallardo, will use a 7.0-litre V12 engine producing 700 HP and 700 Nm of torque, while performance figures indicate that it car reach 100 Km/h from a stand still in 3.0 seconds flat, and also hit a top speed of 350 Km/h.
Video: Superbus by Wubbo Ockels
If you think this is some kind on fancy SUV stretch limo, then it is not. This is the Superbus vehicle invented by Wubbo Ockels who apparently thinks that public transportation should not be slow anymore.
The Superbus was designed by Antania Terzi, and its electric powertrain enables it to travel at speeds of up to 250 Km/h. It looks like the Superbus is designed for traveling on highways (maybe the Autobahn) and the whole project came to life thanks to the Delft University of Technology.
Prior Design Porsche 996
The latest creation from Prior Design involves the Porsche 996 which received a rejuvenating conversion, so it would look more like the 997 model.
To make this happen, the Prior Design Porsche 996 now features a redesigned front bumper with large air inlets, a discrete spoiler lip and a new rear bumper that accommodates the diffuser and the exhaust tips.
The Prior Design Porsche 996 has also received new side sills and the car’s chassis has been lowered by 30 mm.
Video: Audi Travolution
The latest video featured on the German automaker’s official YouTube channel gives details about the Audi Travolution, which is an intelligent traffic system to help drivers cross through the city more efficiently.
Besides ‘planning traffic intelligently’, the Audi Travolution helps reduce fuel consumption, increases safety and decreases stress levels during the rush hour.
2011 Mercedes CLS commercial video
The first commercial video featuring the 2011 Mercedes CLS has recently been launched under the ‘Pure Fascinacion’ slogan.
We get the message that everyone wants to admire the new 2011 Mercedes CLS, and indeed the Audi A7, Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte competitor looks stunning.
The 2011 Mercedes CLS will be seen at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and on the AMG version the 4-door coupe is expected to produce 536 HP, thanks to the new 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8.
Audi e-tron Spyder sketches
Sketched images with the Audi e-tron Spyder have leaked online during the weekend. While the front end of the Audi e-tron Spyder looks like the hard top version introduced earlier this year at the Detroit Motor Show, the rear seemed to have borrowed some of the design cues from the R8.
We can make the assumption that the production version Audi e-tron Spyder will be named the Audi R4, but will around 10 days we will find out for sure if that will be the case or not.
Switzer R1K Nissan GTR with 1005 HP
It was a matter of time before US tuner, Stwitzer Performance would develop an upgrade kit for the Nissan GTR that would enable Godzilla to produce over 1000 HP.
In fact the Switzer R1K Nissan GTR has recorded 1005 awhp on th dyno, and the tuner said it maintained characteristics of mildly upgraded cars.
Can Am Spyder KW coilover suspension
KW is offering a coilover suspension for the Can Am Spyder, a three-wheel, all terrain ATV that now features a lowered centre of gravity.
Thanks to the new KW coilover suspension the Can Am Spyder now benefits from a 30 mm adjustment range, so as you can imagine, this means more grip and higher speeds inside curves.
The Can Am Spyder KW coilover suspension has a price tag of 1499 Euro which includes mounting and a TUV certificate for the parts.
2014 Lotus Elite
The British company has revealed photos and details with the new generation Lotus Elite, which will premiere at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and which represents the dawn of a new era for the independent car maker.
Hitting the market in 2014, the new Lotus Elite features an elegant and sporty new design, with power provided by a front-mid positioned 5.0-litre V8 that packs 620 PS. Thanks to this engine the 2014 Lotus Elite will sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in approximately 3.5 seconds to 3.7 seconds.
Saab 9-3 ePower
The Swedish company is introducing the first all electric vehicle, the Saab 9-3 ePower, which will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show.
The Saab 9-3 ePower is a family estate that can cover almost 200 Km (124 miles) thanks to its high-density lithium-ion battery cells, and the car represents the result of the cooperation between Saab and Boston Power (batteries), Electroengine in Sweden AB (electric power trains), Innovatum (project management) and Power Circle (Sweden’s electric power industry trade organization).
