KW is offering a coilover suspension for the Can Am Spyder, a three-wheel, all terrain ATV that now features a lowered centre of gravity.
Thanks to the new KW coilover suspension the Can Am Spyder now benefits from a 30 mm adjustment range, so as you can imagine, this means more grip and higher speeds inside curves.
The Can Am Spyder KW coilover suspension has a price tag of 1499 Euro which includes mounting and a TUV certificate for the parts.
To make sure that dust and dirt do not get inside the suspension components, KW is also offering shock absorber covers that get mounted on the suspension and which cost 10 Euro per piece.
KW Suspensions press release :
    * Coilover suspension with 30 millimetres adjustment range
    * Low centre of gravity significantly improves road grip
The high centre of gravity of many vehicles, particularly All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Quads, combined with the high level of grip, makes driving around curves at high speeds a nail biting experience. The suspension specialist KW automotive now has a solution for this problem. Using the three-wheeled Can Am Spyder, KW demonstrates the fundamental improvement which can be made with the coilover suspension. The suspension, which is specially tuned to the safety components, has a height adjustment of 30 millimetres and the compression as well as rebound can also be adjusted.
Vehicles such as the Can Am Spyder, which were not designed for all terrain but for roads and long journeys, benefit from the improved road holding. The KW coilover suspension enables individual adjustment of vehicle height within the TÜV-certified range. Depending on the model the front and rear axle of the vehicle can be lowered for sporty demands. If one desires comfort for long journeys, the KW coilover suspension can be adjusted higher than the standard height of the vehicle. The compression and rebound can be adjusted for any setup height.
In addition to the athletic appearance, the exposed KW coilover suspensions give the Spyder an individualistic touch.
In vehicles like the Spyder RT, which have a standard air suspension adjustment on the rear axle, KW automotive offers a coilover suspension that can be mounted only on the front axle. This ensures that air suspension adjustment function is retained.
The coilover suspension is supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware and a TÜV certificate of conformity for the parts. Thus, the KW coilover suspension can be recorded in car documents without any problem. The cost for vehicles with standard air suspension adjustment (two front axle suspensions) is 1499 Euro including VAT, and that for vehicles with conventional rear axle suspensions (two front and one rear suspension) is 1699 Euro.
Shock covers for dust protection
To ensure that dust and dirt do not get into the suspension components, the suspension specialist KW automotive now has shock absorber covers in the product range. These shock covers not only fit KW products but are designed to fit almost all other suspensions. They are simply mounted on the suspension and secured by means of a Velcro fastener. The KW shock covers can be ordered in six different sizes. The price is 10 Euro per piece.
