Volkswagen Cross Coupe Unveiled
Volkswagen has unveiled the Cross Coupe last night in Tokyo, an all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid Concept which blends the looks of a four-door coupe and an SUV.
The Volkswagen Cross Coupe measures 4,345 mm in length (longer than a Golf but shorter than a Tiguan), is 1,868 mm wide and 1,523 mm tall, and represents the first model based on the automaker’s new “modular transverse matrix” (MQB) platform which should also be used on the next generation Audi TT.

EVO has already tested it, it is now time to see what Autocar thinks of the Euro spec 2012 Honda Civic.
This 9th generation Honda Civic which will be built in the UK comes with improvements in all areas that matter, but the main question which Autocar wants to offer an answer to is if it’s as good as its main rivals, the VW Golf and the Ford Focus.
The version shown in this review is the 148 HP 2.2-litre diesel which is the most fuel efficient and eco-friendly out of the three available models, and even though it does not quite match its rivals, Autocar thinks the new Civic does not feel like it is laking any performance but on the contrary, it feels quite spirited.
Bentley ISR Watch by Breitling
Bentley is continuing to remind us of their ice speed record set back in February 2011 by Juha Kankkunen on the frozen waters of the Baltic Sea.
If you remember Bentley’s achievement, they managed to reach a speed of 205.48 mph (330.695 Km/h) in an all-wheel-drive 6.0-litre 12-cylinder Continental Supersports, beating Kankkunen’s previous record of 199.83 mph (321.6 km/h) set in 2007 in a Continental GT.
Honda CR-Z iCF Mugen Announced
Honda UK and MUGEN Euro have joined forces and developed a sports hybrid based on the CR-Z which will be comparable to the Civic Type R in terms of performance.
The car will be called the Honda CR-Z iCF Mugen and will be around 50 percent more powerful than the standard version. In fact the the automaker claims this hybrid pocket rocket will produce 195 PS and will be capable of reaching more than 130 mph.
2012 Ford Focus Zetec S
Customers living in the UK will now get the chance of purchasing the sportiest version Ford Focus, before the 250 HP 2012 Focus ST goes on sale.
We’re talking about the 2012 Ford Focus Zetec S which extracts power from a 1.6-litre EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine rated at 180PS that is able to sprint from nought to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 138 mph.
2012 Honda CR-V Launched in Japan
The 2012 Honda CR-V crossover was launched in Japan, with the company announcing the fact that dealership availability will start on December 2nd.
This forth generation CR-V is going to be offered with two engine options, a 2.4-litre unit for the four-wheel-drive model (the 24G) and a 2.0-litre plant for the front-wheel-drive variant (the 20G) with power levels reaching 190HP at 7,000 rpm/ 222Nm at 4,400 rpm and 150HP at 6,200 rpm / 191 Nm at 4,300 rpm respectively.
Anderson Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Most of Anderson Germany’s tuning programs involve increased engine output and an exterior look that could easy get you fooled into thinking that the car is owned by Batman.
This latest program which is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is no different, as it involves a black body finish complemented by glossy black racing stripes with red lines, carbon fiber components such as the exterior mirror cases, the front bumper hang-on parts, side skirts, rear bumper and rear diffuser plus a set of shiny black rims measuring 21 inches in diameter and wrapped in 345/25-21 tires.
Nissan Juke Nismo Concept
Nissan has unveiled photos and details regarding a lower, faster, more dramatic looking Juke, and we’re not talking about the radical Juke R, but about the Juke Nismo Concept, which will be unveiled at the 42nd edition Tokyo Motor Show.
The Nissan Juke Nismo Concept features a purpose-designed body kit, a engine that has been tweaked for increased performance, a stiffer chassis and a distinctive interior treatment.
Subaru BRZ
Around two weeks ago, Subaru was revealing the BRZ Concept STI at the LA Auto Show, and now, with only a few days left before the Tokyo Motor Show will open its doors, the Japanese company has released new photos and details with the production version BRZ.
The Subaru BRZ, just like Toyota GT 86 is the result of a collaboration between Subaru and Toyota Motor Corporation, with this joint project aiming at bringing a sports car with superior steering response and driving pleasure to the world.
Hamann Range Rover 5.0i V8 Supercharged
The Germans from Hamann have finished working on a new enhancement program involving the Range Rover 5.0i V8 Supercharged.
The program includes exclusive bodywork through the usage of redesigned bumpers, side sills, wheel arch extensions, LED daytime running lights and various other unique elements, a set of 23 inch double spoke design rims wrapped in 315/25R32 tires and a new interior treatment that makes the “luxury SUV appear much more dynamic”.
