Documentary: 2012 Porsche Carrera 911 Testing
Porsche has published a short documentary film in which it presents the rigorous testing undergone by the new 2012 Carrera 911 before this 7th generation sports car (internally known as the 991) was put on sale.
As the footage will show, Porsche has divided its test engineers into two groups, one which took the car to South Africa and the other to the Arctic Circle. The goal was to see how the 2012 Porsche Carrera 911 would perform in extreme conditions and make sure that all of its components would react as designed even when pushed to the limits.
Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo 2012
The Vauxhall Insignia model sold under the Opel badge in the other European regions, is now also available with the automaker’s most powerful diesel engine – the 2.0-litre twin-sequential turbocharged diesel rated at 195 PS and 400 Nm of torque.
This engine will be fitted on the Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo which will be available as a five door hatch or a Sports Tourer and in SRi, SRi Vx-line and Elite trim levels.

2013 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet
The Blue Oval has unveiled a few photos and details with the updated 2013 Cobra Jet after its public unveiling at the Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando, Florida on December 2nd.
As you know the Cobra Jet represents Ford Racing’s Turnkey Race Car Program which in this latest version comes with two 5.0-liter Ti-VCT engine options : one which is naturally aspirated featuring a CJ injection system, CNC ported heads, high-lift cams and low-drag accessory drive and the other a 2.9-litre Whipple supercharged version with CNC port-matched manifold and heads, and a proprietary 10-rib supercharger drive system.
Bentley 4.0 liter V8 Engine Sound
Some automaker tease us with blurry images featuring upcoming models, others release videos that give glimpses of what their new engine will sound like.
One such automaker is Bentley who has been working on their new twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 for quite some time, so if you’ll follow the jump you will hear “the prelude to a potent new Bentley driving experience that begins in 2012”.

An unfortunate incident taking place at a supercar gathering in Japan where 8 Ferraris, 3 Mercs and 1 Lambo were involved in a massive crash.
According to Bloomberg everything happened at around 10 a.m on the Chugoku Expressway where one red Ferrari tried “switching from the right lane to the left and skidded” due to the wet road conditions.

2012 Renault Laguna Coupe Facelift
This year’s edition Bologna Motor Show is hosting the debut for the facelift version 2012 Renault Laguna Coupe.
The series of tweaks applied to this latest variant are almost unnoticeable with the main changes spotted around the headlights where the automaker has decided to enhance the illumination blocks with LED daytime running lights.
The Laguna Coupe is also spotted wearing newly designed 18 inch alloy wheels while its equipment grades have been upgraded and are now including new standard and optional features.
BMW X6 M50d Teaser Video
BMW has published a teaser video with the X6 M50d that show’s the M division’s new crossover being put through its paces on twisty public roads.
Although the automaker did not specify the badging for this model, nor did it give any hint regarding its powertrain, various sources are saying that we’re talking about a diesel version backed by a 3.0-litre unit rated at 380 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
