We’ve always been jealous on people like Tiff Needell who make a living out of driving new sports car and travel to countries such as France just to do a review.
This latest video featuring FifthGear’s host, involves the glamorous Aston Martin Virage Volante which costs 160,000 GBP and represents the middle ground between the aggressive DBS and the smooth DB9.
Tiff goes on a 165 mile journey evocative to V12 GTs which runs through northern France and ends on on a deserted race track.
The Virage Volante which combines Aston’s best bits, (the grunt of a V12, the suspension from the Rapide and the refinement of the DB9) is a 490 bhp soft top convertible which goes from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds and which can reach a top speed of 183 mph.
The car’s three layered soft top can fold in just 17 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph, is consists of Alcantara on the interior, canvas on the outside and an Thinsulate in the middle.
