Toyota recalls 7.43 million vehicles globally
Bad news for Toyota owners, as a huge recall was announced today. The Japanese manufacturer issued a global voluntary recall that includes a total of 7.43 million vehicles. The problem? A friction fault inside an electric window switch that could cause smoke emissions due to a faulty applied grease.

2013 Toyota Auris gets the Gundam Style package

The 2013 Toyota Auris hatchback received a styling package from Modellista, the in-house tuning arm of the Japanese automaker. The tuner chose as its inspiration the character Char Aznable and then the designers translated it to the hatchback.

Two German companies, BASF and SGL, developed together a lightweight and durable material that will be used for the production of future car body elements. The novelty consists in combining a polyamide resin with carbon fiber.
