Audi sold over 1.5 million cars in 2013
A new all-time record for AUDI AG: In 2013, the company sold around 1,575,500 cars worldwide, 8.3 percent more than in 2012. The premium manufacturer’s sales thus increased by more than 100,000 units for the fourth consecutive year. Major growth drivers over the past year were the three biggest export markets for Audi, al l of which reported double-digit growth, with China up 21.2 percent, the United States up 13.5 percent, and the UK up 14.9 percent. In Europe and China, the four rings again led the premium segment in 2013 as the top-selling brand. Audi concluded the year with 18.4 percent growth to around 130,700 global deliveries in December, increasing sales in al l regions of the world compared to the same month of 2012.

Lamborghini posts record sales in 2013
With 129 dealers serving 46 countries, in 2013 worldwide deliveries to customers have been increased from 2,083 to 2,121 units. This development isoutperforming the trend of the market in the super sports car segment. Lamborghini is a global brand and sales distribution is well balanced among the three regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) 34%, America 36% and Asia Pacific 30%.

Datsun will unveil a new concept at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo

GM to introduce 15 models in 2014
General Motors forecasts modest global industry growth in 2014 driven by the United States, China and Europe. Based on this outlook and the introduction of key vehicles globally, the company expects its total earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) adjusted to be modestly improved with improved underlying operating performance more than offsetting increased restructuring expense. Additionally, the company said it expects EBIT-adjusted margins will be similar to last year.
