Lexus RX 200t expands the crossover line-up
Even if the new generation RX was unveiled for the first time during New York Auto Show, at the begining of this month, Lexus kept some surprises for Shanghai too. During the most important Chinese auto show of this spring, Lexus introduced the RX 200t model.
Buick Verano: new generation unveiled in Shanghai
One of the best represented American brands in China, Buick unviled during this year Shanghai Motor Show the new generation Verano. The medium-segment sedan has a new design, inspired by Buick Riviera Concept Car from 2013 and Buick Avenir from 2015.
Chevrolet FNR electric concept unveiled
Chevrolet is also one of the most important US producers present in China. The GM brand unveiled in Shanghai Motor Show a futuristic concept, inspired from a Sci-Fi movie. The futuristic design is the work of GM’s Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) joint venture.
Infiniti Q70L Bespoke Edition unveiled
Infiniti tries to exploit Chinese love for premium cars with a special edition of its Q70 sedan. Called the Q70L Bespoke Edition at Auto Shanghai 2015, the car is in fact the production version of a concept introduced earlier.
2016 Lexus ES facelift unveiled
Along the new RX 200t version of its new generation SUV, Lexus also unveiled in Shanghai the new 2016 ES facelift. The car is regarded as one of the best selling products in Lexus range, and has been improved to keep up the pace with its German rivals.
Lamborghini Aventador SV will be a 600 unit limited edition
Lamborghini has revealed that the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce will be produced in a limited series of 600 units. This is the Italian supercar manufacturer plan to keep the Aventador SV an exclusive car.
BBC announces remaining Top Gear episodes will be aired
According to a report published by BBC2 boss Kim Shillinglaw the remaining three episodes of series 22 of Top Gear will be aired this year, most likely during the summer. As you can imagine there won’t be any studio scenes as BBC usually records those parts several days before airing the episode so it is obviously they weren’t able to do that because of Clarkson.
Mercedes-Benz Concept GLC Coupe storms in Shanghai
Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the all-new Concept GLC Coupe at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show. Billed as the BMW X4 rival, the car looks like a GLE Coupe in miniature. According to Mercedes-Benz it is a near-production-standard study and it will come as a production model in the next months.
