The Swedish automaker has just developed a new edition named Volvo C30 R-Design which is basically a more expressive and styled version of the basic C30 model. Mercedes released more photos and details today with their new 2010 Mercedes E Class Coupe and announced that they developed two new 4-cylinder engines that offer reduced fuel consumption. The best example mentioned by the company is the 2010 Mercedes E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe with 204 horsepower (150 kW) and 500 Nm of torque that needs only 5.1 litres of diesel to cover 100 kilometres with 135 g of CO2 emitted per kilometre. Citroen C-Quatre Sedan unveiled
The French automaker unveiled the new Citroen C-Quatre Sedan at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show and along with also newly debuted C5 model they plan on becoming a bigger player on the Chinese auto market. Audi is looking ahead into the future developing a series of hybrid supercar concepts and lightweight design ideas for interiors with the help of young students at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. 2011 Audi Q3
The German automaker announced that production for the 2011 Audi Q3 will start in Spain at the Seat site in Martorell. If everything will go according to plan the plant should roll off 80,000 units a year with an initially investment from Audi of around 300 million Euros. Once production starts the sporty 2011 Audi Q3 will join the SUV family consisting of the Audi Q5 produced in Germany and the Audi Q7 produced in Slovakia. Audi R8 LMS ready for Nurburgring 24 Hours
Audi decided that the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race will be the perfect place to test and then further develop the Audi R8 LMS. Two teams are ready to take on the famous track on May 23rd and 24th, the ABT Sportsline and Phoenix Racing with a total of four cars prepaired. Drivers were carefully selected and include four DTM Champions, four Le Mans winners and five drivers who have won the 24-hour race at the Nurburgring at least once.
