BMW M3 GT4 race debut
The BMW M3 GT4 is ready to take on the track. And when we say that we refer to the 24-hour race on Nurburgring’s Nordschleife track, where the new BMW M3 GT4 will debut on 23rd/24th of May this year. Since 1970 when the 24-hour race started BMW has achieved great results and this time Schubert Motorsport hopes the wining formula will mean having Augusto Farfus (BR), Jorg Muller (DE) and Andy Priaulx (GB) as drivers. Volkswagen Golf VI awarded 2009 World Car of the Year
The German automaker announced during a conference at the New York Auto Show that their Volkswagen Golf VI was awarded with the 2009 World Car of the Year title. This title was voted by a jury composed by 59 international automotive journalists from 25 countries, and shows that the company’s best selling model is on the right track, having 26 million units sold world wide since the production of the first Golf. With today’s unveil of the Mitsubishi Outlander GT Prototype at the New York Auto Show, the company also announced their plans of turning this vehicle into a production car.

Detailes on the 2009 BMW 760i and 760Li have emmerged today from the Bavarian automaker along with plenty of photos. Both the 760i and the 760Li extract power from a massive 6.0-liter V12 engine with twin turbochargers that is able to develop 544 hp (400kW) at 5,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm. On the 2009 BMW 760Li power will be directed to the rear wheels with the help of the new 8-speed automatic transmission while variants will cover the 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
