Video: Motorcycle jump over Corinth Canal
In this video we have Motorcross Freestyle rider Robbie Maddison a.k.a. “Maddo” who performs a long motorcycle jump over the Corinth Canal in Greece.
There have been other attempts to jump over the Corinth Canal before but Maddo was the firs to succeed, and as he mentioned, the biggest obstacle was ‘overcoming fear’.
Chevrolet Camaro Convertible revealed
These are the first official photos with the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, as GM has revealed the soft top version muscle car on the company’s Facebook page.
At this point we only get to see the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible from the front and rear but we expect a full image gallery to be released soon.
BMW 5 Series GT and 740d xDrive
The Bavarian automaker automaker is expanding their all-wheel-drive equipped vehicle range by introducing the BMW 5 Series GT and 740d xDrive.
The BMW 5 Series GT xDrive versions based on all engine options will become available starting from September 2010, the same time when the BMW 740d xDrive will make its appearance as well.

Honda CRZ Promo Video
The Japanese car maker has released a new Honda CRZ promo video, underlining the characteristics of their first ever hybrid car fitted with a manual transmission.
The Honda CRZ will be offered with two equipment levels, under the S and GT badges and among standard features on all versions the company includes six-airbags, active headrests, Vehicle Stability Assist, Climate Control, 6-speaker CD player and an engine start button.

Nissan Official Car Supplier for FIA GT1
The FIA GT1 promoters (SRO) announced that Nissan will become the Official Car Supplier for the GT1 World Championship 2010 season, with a further extension for 2011 also possible.
The Japanese manufacturer will supply four cars to SRO Motorsports Group per event, and one of their high-performance cars to become the Official Safety Car at each event.
Video: 2010 Lexus GX460 Unsafe
Consumer Reports has discovered an handling issue with the recently launched facelift version 2010 Lexus GX460 which made them classify it as unsafe and also give out a ‘Don’t Buy’ warning.
The news that was quickly picked up by other media organisations reports that when driven out of control the car’s rear end slides out until the vehicle is almost sideways before theelectronic stability-control system kicks in to regain control of the 2010 Lexus GX460.
Volvo S60 price
The 2010 Volvo S60 price for Britain’s market was just announced, with the first customer deliveries sheduled for August.
The 2010 Volvo S60 comes available with either a petrol engine (3.0-litre 6-cylinder producing 304 HP and 440 Nm) or two diesel units (2.0-litre D3 with 164 HP and 400 Nm and a twin-turbo D5 with 205 HP and 420 Nm).
The Volvo S60 3.0-litre D3 returns 28.5 mpg as for the diesel equipped models fuel consumption figures are 54.3 mpg and 53.3 mpg respectively.
As far as performance the most vivid is of course the petrol model which can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph and some of the standard features on all trim levels (ES, SE and SE Lux) include the City Safety system,DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control), WHIPS (Whiplash Protection System), SIPS (Side Impact Protection System) and Inflatable Curtain airbags.
UK customers should know the Volvo S60 price starts at 23,295 GBP for the D3 ES version while for the top of the line T6 AWD SE Lux variant pricing starts at 36,745 GBP.

The automaker from Ingolstadt has released a video in which it presents the tough quality testing stages each Audi model has to go trough before hitting the market.
These tests include driving in the desert exposed to extreme heat, in simulated torrential rain, 300 Km/h winds, salt, 100 per cent humidity, or agingprocesses that add 12 years to the vehicle in just 19 weeks.
