Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE at Le Mans into the Future
The Japanese car maker announced that it will bring the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE at this year’s Le Mans into the Future event for a demonstration.
The Le mans into the Future event is a race in which participant vehicles, like the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE, use alternative powertrains based on electric, hybrid, natural gas or hydrogen fuel. The Mazda coupe RX-8 Hydrogen RE is fitted with a dual-fuel (petrol/hydrogen) rotary engine that burns zero-emissions hydrogen.
BMW Art Car at 24 hours of Le Mans
The BMW Art Car created by Jeff Koons will participate in the 2010 edition 24 hours of Le Mans race. The BMW Art Car is based on a M3 GT2 which has been homologated to compete in this year’s famous endurance race with Andy Priaulx (GB), Dirk Muller (DE) and Dirk Werner (DE) behind the wheel.
