2012 Mercedes A Class info
Information regarding the new generation 2012 Mercedes A Class is starting to surface, and according to the latest rumors the German automaker will aim its upcoming model towards rivals like the VW Golf, Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series.
The 2012 Mercedes A Class hatchback will feature a front wheel drive platform and a far as design the car is expected to resemble with the F800 concept showcased in Geneva back in March, with LED headlights, and front fascia that will not look like the current A Class.
Chevy Volt battery guaranteed for 100000 miles or 8 years
GM announced that their upcoming Chevy Volt will be backed by a 8-year or 100000 miles warranty on its lithium-ion battery pack.
They American manufacturer has also stated that the when a Chevy Volt owner decides to sell his car, the warranty on the battery pack can be transferred to the new owner charge free.
BMW M3 GTS video
The Bavarian based car maker has released a new video with the BMW M3 GTS which celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the BMW M3.
Powered by a 4.4-litre V8 producing 450 horsepower the BMW M3 GTS rockets from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.4 seconds and is able to hit a top speed of 300 Km/h. Some of the elements that are part of the special treatment applied on the BMW M3 GTS include double spoke design 19 inch alloys in black, a stiffer suspension and a more aerodynamic body. At the interior the BMW M3 GTS has been stripped el features like air conditioning, navigation, radio and even the rear seat, and as a result the car’s total weight is now 1,490 Kg.

Most of you might know that the new generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo is on of the best, if not the best handling SUV on the market right now, with supercar-like performance figures.
Of course it has its limitations due to its size and weight, but nevertheless the car is truly impressive, and just to put things into perspective, Autocar has done a comparison test in which they put the Porsche Cayenne Turbo vs the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S around a track just to see what kind of time difference is there between the two.
2011 BMW X3 video
This is the first 2011 BMW X3 video that reveals the company’s baby SUV in motion, with scenes that present both the exterior and the interior.
The most powerful version 2011 BMW X3 will be the xDrive35i which will pack 300 HP and 300 lb-ft of torque (or 304 HP and 295-lb-ft in the European spec version), while the most fuel efficient will be the xDrive20d which will feature a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that outputs 184 HP and 280.2 lb-ft of torque. Consumptions figures for the 2011 BMW X3 xDrive20d which will only be available in Europe starting from 2011, will be of 5.6 litres per 100 Km.

Official photos and details with the 2011 BMW X3 have been released by the German manufacturer. This second generation model which will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor SHow in September is slightly larger than its predecessor and will be offered with a range of new engines.
With production expected to start at the company’s Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, the 2011 BMW X3 features a balder exterior design than looks more ‘simplified’ comparing to the model it replaces, while at the interior customers will get premium quality through a combination of leather, wood and aluminium plus a driver oriented center console.
Carlsson 2010 Mercedes E Class Cabrio
We’ve seen their custom version based on the hard top version, so now the German tuner, Carlsson introduces a new package, this time based on the 2010 Mercedes E Class Cabrio.
Starting with the visual enhancements the Carlsson 2010 Mercedes E Class Cabrio features new front and rear spoilers with a carbon fiber lip at the front, 18 or 20 inch, 16 spoke design alloy wheels and a 30 mm lowered suspension.
Ferrari 458 Challenge
As we mentioned before, it was just a matter of time until the Italian automaker would release official info with the Ferrari 458 Challenge considering that spy photos that revealed it have already appeared on the Internet.
Powering the Ferrari 458 Challenge is a 4.5-litre V8 delivering 570 HP @ 9000 rpm and modifications that were performed to better adapt it for racing include a faster shifting dual-clutch F1 gearbox, a new suspension with aluminium bushings, stiffer springs and single-rate dumpers was also fitted plus 19 inch racing rims.

Images with the Ferrari 458 Italia Challenge have just surfaced on the web as the Prancing Horse racer has been captured in all its beauty during the official presentation.
The Ferrari 458 Italia Challenge comes as a replacement for the F430 Challenge and even though it is just a matter of time until official data will get released, for now we can only point out the obvious. The first things we noticed is that the Ferrari 458 Italia Challenge has replaced the 3 tailpipe exhaust system with a twin pipe, and just by looking at the interior photos we can understand that this version weights less than the stock model.

MTE has developed a massive tuning program for the Volkswagen Golf 4 R32 that is able to squize no less than 740 HP and 800 Nm of torque from the German hatch. We remind you that the stock version Volkswagen Golf 4 R32 produces 241 HP from its 3.2-litre VR6 engine so if you wonder how was that huge increase possible, the answer is : two GT28/71 Garrett turbochargers.
