BMW Concept C Scooter
BMW has just released photos and details with the BMW Concept C Scooter, which is a big scooter that will serve as platform for two new premium scooters with internal combustion engines scheduled to make it into production in the future.
The BMW Concept C Scooter is being showcased at the EICMA in Milan these days, and in terms of design some of the lines that will make it recognisable include the ‘split face’, the high rear section and the close cut, speeder-style windscreen.
Seat Alhambra price
The Spanish automaker has announced UK pricing for the 2010 Seat Alhambra and also released a presentation video for the new 7-seater MPV.
Measuring more than 4.8 meters from one end to the either the new Seat Alhambra offers 2,297 litres of space when the rear seats are folded, and as far as engine choices the Spanish MPV will be offered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel, which will output either 140 PS or 170 PS and a 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged direct injection petrol that produces 150 PS.
2011 Chevrolet Corvette Jake Edition
We also have photos and details with the second customized Corvette present at this year’s edition SEMA Show, and we’re talking about the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Jake Edition which is a concept vehicle that celebrates ‘Corvette’s racing spirit’.
The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Jake Edition is based on the Grand Sport Coupe with Z06 wheels and the Competition Gray exterior finish, and its name is inspired from the Skull mascot known as Jake which symbolizes determination and triumph.
2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06X Track Car
Here are a few photos and also details with the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06X Track Car Concept that is being exhibited these days at the 2010 SEMA Show.
The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06X Track Car is based on the Corvette Z06 with the 1LZ equipment package, and represents the result of the collaboration between GM and Pratt and Miller.
Some of the features that are easily spotted at the exterior include an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, and the polycarbonate rear window, together with the low-gloss Icy White Metallic colour, accented by a series of carbon fiber elements and red trim.
Nissan JUKE 16GT and 16GT FOUR
The Japanese company is enhancing the Nissan Juke range with two new grades named the 16GT and 16GT FOUR, which will only be available across Japan.
Both the Nissan JUKE 16GT and 16GT FOUR, which is the 4-wheel-drive equipped version, will be powered by the new 1.6-litre engine featuring Xtronic CVT with 6-speed manual shift mode, meaning a power output of 190 PS (140 kW) @ 5,600 rpm and 240 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 5,200 rpm.
The Nissan JUKE 16GT FOUR features the ALL MODE 4x4i with a newly developed torque vectoring system plus a rear multi-link suspension for improved stability.
2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo by RIDES Magazine
Among the six customized models that are on display at the Hyundai stand, at this year’s 2010 SEMA Show, there is also the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo by RIDES Magazine.
The 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo by RIDES Magazine is inspired by the Mercedes CLS, and is fitted with a body kit that includes new front and rear bumpers, side sills, a rear spoiler and a roof spoiler. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo by RIDES Magazine also features a matte black grille, a matte pearl body finish, 20 inch Rennen Modular M9 concave wheels, smoked taillights and painted headlights plus LED fog lights and 3M carbon wrap for the roof.
Peugeot 90X
The French automaker has revealed a set of photos and preliminary info referring to their Peugeot 90X, which is a new prototype developed in parallel with the 2010 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP race programme.
The Peugeot 90X represents the company’s new endurance challenger for 2011, which until now was kept as a secret at the Belizy plant near Paris.
The Peugeot 90X is still a long way from being ready, so here is what we know about it so far. It complies with the ACO 2011 regulations, it incorporates the extra ‘shark fin’ on the engine cover which prevents the car from going airborne in case of a high-speed spin, and its closed cockpit design meets the mandatory 900 Kg weight requirement.
Chevrolet Camaro Red Flash
GM has announced that will debut a series of new designs, technologies and accessories at this year’s edition SEMA Show, together will a number of show cars that might inspire aftermarket customizers.
In terms of design and accessories, GM will introduce the Z-Spec Concept which will be detailed through customized version of the 2011 Chevy Cruize, Volt and Spark.
As far as performance, Chevrolet will use the customized Camaro and Corvette models, which will include the Camaro Red Flash and the Camaro SSX Track Car plus the Z06X Track Car and Corvette Jake.
Ford Fiesta R2 Rally Kit
Ford has just announced that it will bring their M-Sport developed, Fiesta rally kit to the US, in a more that is expected to thrill rally enthusiasts.
The Ford Fiesta R2 Rally Kit is currently available in Europe, and it features various engine parts that will increase performance of the 1.6-litre Ti-VCT 4-cylinder engine. These parts include pistons, conrods, camshafts, valve springs, injectors, airbox, air filter and a sump baffle kit.
Toyota Prius C&A Custom Concept
A second project car based on a Prius, that will be presented at this year’s edition SEMA Show is the Toyota Prius C&A Custom Concept.
The Toyota Prius C&A Custom Concept was developed by the Conversions and Accessories group at Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan and their goal was to demonstrate the unlimited customization potential of the world’s best selling hybrid.
