Jaguar XF Black Pack
Jaguar is introducing a new styling kit for the XF sports saloon called the Black Pack, which applies to the XF Diesel S and the 5.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and XFR models.
The Jaguar XF Black Pack price is 950 GBP, an amount which will visually enhance the British saloon with a set of 20 inch Draco alloy wheels, a dark grey body finish, glossy black window surrounds and grille, and six new colour choices.
2011 Nissan 370Z price
Pricing for the 2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe, 370Z Roadster and NISMO 370Z, have been announced, as the new models are already on sale at dealerships across US.
On the 2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe which is offered in two models, the 370Z and 370Z Touring, power is extracted from a 3.7-litre DOCH V6 linked to a six-speed manual gearbox, which delivers 332 HP. A 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and paddle shifters is also available, and some of the technology features that are being offered as standard include HDD navigation with a 7 inch touch screen display, a 9.3GB HDD Music Box, USB and iPod connectivity, XM NavTraffic and XM NavWeather, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth Streaming Audio and and hands-free plus the Nissan Intelligent Key.
Mazda at 2010 SEMA Show
Mazda has released photos and information regarding their customized models on display at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Mazda’s aftermarket capability is demonstrated through a number of projects like the Mazda2 Evil Track, the Mazda3 Reline Time Attack, the Miata MX-5 Super20 or the MX-5 Cup.
The Mazda2 Evil Track features a custom body kit and an upgrade suspension from H&R, Sparco racing seats, a roll cage and 15 inch alloys wrapped in racing tires.
Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany
Anderson Germany is back with another performance package called the Racing Edition, which squeezes more power out from the Audi R8 V10.
So by fitting the Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany with a valve controlled sports exhaust which is also 17 Kg lighter than the one on the stock model, racing cats, a sports air filter plus revised engine electronics, total output was raised from 525 HP to 585 HP.
This power boost had to be reflected at the exterior, so the Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany has also received a body kit which includes an aggressive looking front apron a new rear spoiler, a carbon fiber diffuser, carbon mirrors and rear window bordering.
Fiat Punto MyLife
The Italian automaker is introducing a new equipment grade for the Fiat Punto, called MyLife, which offers European customers a little more exclusivity combined with the latest technology and environmental compliance.
The Fiat Punto MyLife price in Italy starts at 9,900 Euro for the 3-door version 69 bhp 1.2 Euro5 equipped with Start Stop technology, while the 5-door variant costs 10,700 Euro.
Some of the features on the Fiat Punto MyLife include various glossy black elements, body colour painted bumpers, exterior mirrors and door handles plus dark frame projectors front and rear, while at the interior the dashboard is covered with a soft touch black perforated material.
World’s Fastest Hybrid Truck
The world’s fastest hybrid truck – is not really an achievement yet, but a statement from Volvo Trucks who are planing to use the ‘Mean Green’ in spring 2011 and beat the world speed record for the standing kilometre.
The Mean Green is a project conducted by Volvo’s elite Hybrid technology experts, but it remains to be seen if the ‘world’s fastest hybrid truck’ is going to be a phrase they can use to brag about their achievement next year.
2011 Ducati Diavel
The Italian manufacturer has unveiled the 2011 Ducati Diavel, releasing photos and details with their new bike which is about to be revealed to te public starting from November 4th at the 68th edition Milan International Motorcycle Show (EICMA).
With the 2011 Ducati Diavel the Italian company is introducing a new motorcycle concept, which is light and agile but also comfortable, featuring ‘ levels of performance that take your breath away.’
Weighting only 207 Kg (456 lbs) and packing 162 HP, the 2011 Ducati Diavel has a specially engineered 240 section rear tire, and features technologies like ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes.
SsangYong Korando
The completely refreshed SsangYong Korando has been revealed, and besides being designed in Europe, the European bound crossover also features a new platform and a new engine.
The SsangYong Korando was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and as you can see it now features a strong, charismatic aspect, with sharp lines that created a dynamic shape.
The SsangYong Korando will be offered with a choice between two-wheel or all-wheel-drive and power will get extracted from a 2.0-litre diesel which outputs 175 PS and requires 6.0 l/100km (47mpg). CO2 emissions are of only 157g/km and as far as transmission options, both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes are available.
SEMA 2010: 2011 Kia Sportage Concepts
Kia Motors has collaborated with lifestyle Antenna Magazine and created two customs concepts based on the 2011 Kia Sportage which are being exhibited these days at the 2010 SEMA Show.
The 2011 Kia Sportage Concepts are named ‘Play’ and ‘Work’ and are aimed at ‘recreational enthusiasts and busy, on-the-go professionals’, both fitted with the latest gadgets and technologies as well as materials that will appeal to ‘active and fashion-forward males’.
Honda CR-Z Hybrid at SEMA 2010
It looks like the 2011 Honda CR-Z has received a lot of attention from tuners as well as the Japanese automaker for this year’s SEMA Show, and the gallery below presents some of the accessories and customization programs being showcased these days in Las Vegas, which are designed to enhance the new sport hybrid coupe.
Among the highlights at the Honda stand will be the Mugen version Honda CR-Z Hybrid and the HPD CR-Z Hybrid R and Racer Concepts both offering a 200HP upgrade program.
