2012 McLaren MP4-12C GT3
McLaren has published a CGI photo with the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 through which it announces their return to GT sports car racing, 12 year after six McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtails’ last raced at Le Mans.
The 2012 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 which will be sold in limited numbers, is the result of British sports car manufacturer collaborating with CRS Racing, and according to them this new racer comes with an advanced one-piece chassis (MonoCell) made from carbon fiber and it features improved aerodynamics combined with lightweight.
Ducati Diavel Diamond Black
The Italian superbike manufacturer is introducing a new colour theme for its new Ducati Diavel model introduced at the Milan International Show last month, which is diamond black.
The Ducati Diavel Diamond Black which features both gloss and matte carbon weave, has been further enhanced with a black anodised headlamp body and lateral air intakes, and this new scheme will be available along the rest of the Diavel range starting from February 2011.
Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Price
Pricing for the all new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid has been announced, as the automaker’s most fuel efficient mid-size sedan is is close to arriving in dealerships across US (early January 2011).
The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid price will start at 25,795 USD, while the Premium Package version in go on sale starting at 30,795 USD.
With a powertrain composed from a 169 HP 2.4-litre Atkinson Cycle 4-cylinder engine, featuring a Hybrid starter-generator (HSG), and backed by a permanent magnet high-power density motor (30 kW) linked to a 270V lithium polymer battery, the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid will return 37 mpg combined (EPA rating).
Senner Audi RS5 with 506HP
Senner Tuning has prepared a second performance package for the new Audi RS5, and as you might suspect, the power level on the German coupe has been further increased.
This means that instead of 450 HP (331 kW) and 430 Nm resulted from their previous upgrade, the Senner Audi RS5 is now able to deliver 506 HP (372 kW) and 478 Nm of torque, due to its new valve-controlled stainless steel exhaust system with zero-pressure monitoring.
GMC Sierra HD Concept
GM has unveiled the GMC Sierra HD Concept ahead of its public debut in Detroit, and even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, we suspect that this heavy-duty truck will make it into production.
Based on the 2011 Sierra HD, the GMC Sierra HD Concept uses a 6.6-litre Duramax turbodiesel V8 which produces 397 HP and 765 lb-ft of torque, and which is send power to the wheels via a 6-speed Allison 100 gearbox.
Video: Russian Motorists Beat Drunk Driver
This next footage is quite disturbing and shows an incident involving a drunk Russian driver vs a number of angry Russian motorists.
According the the Russian press, a 44 year old man inside a Hyundai Terracan has been driving under the influence on the streets of Moscow, and crashed around 20 vehicles, including a Porsche Cayenne which can be seen at 0:25.
2012 Ford Focus price for UK
UK pricing for the 2012 Ford Focus has recently been announced, as the new model is about to go on sale in March 2011.
Available with four trim levels, (Edge, Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X), the 2012 Ford Focus price for UK starts at 15,995 GBP for the 1.6-litre 105 PS version while the range topping model powered by a 1.6-litre 150PS EcoBoost petrol unit starts at 21,245 GBP.
APS VW GOLF R Stage 2
Performance specialists from APS have launched a stage 2 upgrade for the VW GOLF R powered by its 2.0-litre TFSI engine.
The APS VW GOLF R Stage 2 costs 1999 GBP and thanks to a thoroughly developed ECU remap, it raises the maximum power level to 330 BHP. Also the APS VW GOLF R Stage 2 package includes a Milltek large bore turbo down pipe, high flow sports catalyst and a choice of Milltek stainless steel sports exhausts with electronic valve control and ceramic black tailpipes.
2011 Lexus CT 200h US price
Pricing for the 2011 Lexus CT 200h going on sale on the US market has been announced, and customers will find this new hybrid in the showrooms starting from early March.
The 2011 Lexus CT 200h US price starts at 29,120 USD and its powertrain is composed from a four-cylinder 1.8-litre VVT-i engine running on petrol and a high voltage battery. With an electrically controlled continuously variable transmission spinning the front wheels, the 2011 Lexus CT 200h promises an average fuel consumption figure of 42 mpg (combined), plus the car can travel up to 1.2 miles on just electricity, at speeds of 28 mph.
2012 Nissan NV price
Pricing for Nissan’s first commercial vehicle, the 2012 Nissan NV, has been announced, with sales scheduled to begin in spring 2011.
The models include in the 2012 Nissan NV lineup are the NV1500 that comes fitted with a 4.0-litre V6 (261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque) as standard, the NV2500 powered by either a 4.0-litre V6 or a 5.6-litre V8 (317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque), plus the NV3500 HD which uses a 5.6-litre V8 for propulsion. Both powertrain options come mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
