Video: 2012 BMW M5 Teased
After it initially published a short clip in which we almost couldn’t see the 2012 BMW M5 at all, the Bavarian automaker has published a second teaser, this time offering a few flashes with the new model partially covered by camouflage.
Dr. Kay Segler, president of BMW M GmbH says the 2012 BMW M5 is a ‘bold business car’ which can instantly turn into a sports car ‘with the push of a button’.
Video: Ferrari FF 4WD System
As you know the Ferrari FF premiered at the Geneva Motor Show last week, and according to recent statement made by the company’s CEO, Luca di Montezemolo, the 800 exemplars that were planned for production in 2011 have already been sold out.
The Ferrari FF price is 260,000 Euro, and besides the 660 HP 6.3-litre V12 engine fitted under its bonnet, the new model has also been equipped with the company’s first four-wheel-drive system (4RM – 4 ruote motrici)
Tata Pixel Concept
Indian car maker Tata has introduced a new city car concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show named Pixel which measures just over 3 m in length and is “the most package efficient four-seater in the world”, able to comfortably accommodate four adults.
One interesting feature about the Tata Pixel Concept is its ability to manoeuvre and park in tight spaces, thanks to the Zero Turn toroidal traction-drive Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) which enables the rotation of the outer rear wheel forwards and the inner rear wheel backwards, which results in a turning circle radius of ust 2.6 meters. The Tata Pixel Concept is also equipped with ‘scissor’ doors which open upwards, from the same considerate, and that is to allow passengers to get in or out in the tightest of spaces.
Carlsson C25 Royale Mercedes SL65 AMG
German tuner Carlsson has launched a new version of their C25 tuning program for the Mercedes SL65 AMG, called the Royale Super GT, which according to them benefits from more than 70 innovations.
With production limited to 25 units the Carlsson C25 Royale Mercedes SL65 AMG comes with a heavily modified body, especially at the rear where it looks completely different when compared to the basis model. The car is also 180 Kg lighter, due to extensive usage of carbon, and has a lowered center of gravidy as it features a new C-Tronic suspension system.
Hyundai i10 Blue Review Video
FifthGear tested one of the cheapest cars on sale in the UK, the Hyundai i10 Blue, which costs 9,200 GBP, and promises fuel consumption figures of 67 mpg and CO2 emission levels of 99 grams per Km. All this high level of efficiency is enabled by a 3-cylinder petrol engine which will also have you exempt from London’s congestion charge.
When it comes to equipment the Hyundai i10 Blue is also quite generous as it offers Start Stop technology, a gear shift indicator, air conditioning and electric windows as standard.
Suzuki Swift S Concept
Suzuki is among the last automakers to release details referring to its Swift S Concept unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to Suzuki, the Swift S Concept has turned into a ‘more sporty and exciting’ vehicle after it received a new body work design which enhances its width by 60 mm and a rear roof spoiler plus the Lightning Pearl Yellow finish. The Swift S Concept has also been fitted dynamic looking front and rear bumpers, a big rear spoiler, 18 inch alloys, slightly modified headlamps and taillights along with a 33 mm lower suspension.

Range Rover Evoque Road Bike Concept
Land Rover presents a new product bearing the Evoque name, but don’t think of another SUV version, because this time it’s about all about a road bike concept being showcased these days at the Geneva Motor Show.
Created by the automaker’s design team and supervised by director Gerry McGovern, the Range Rover Evoque road bike concept features an aerodynamic and lightweight monocoque frame made from carbon fiber, crafted by Karbona who applied various techniques from Formula 1.
Pagani Huayra Promo Video
Pagani Automobili has launched the first set of videos with the Zonda successor, the Huayra. The first one is the official Pagani Huayra promo and contains some special effects in connection with the car’s name, borrowed from the South American god of wind, while the second footage was shot during Huayra’s world premiere on February 18th in Milan.
The Pagani Huayra is also being showcased in Geneva These days, and there are many who agree that that car looks much better in real life.
Aston Martin AMR-ONE LMP1
Aston Martin Racing has unveiled their new AMR-ONE LMP1, a race car which was developed from the ground up and which is in accordance with the new regulations for 2011.
Featuring an open top monocoque design, the Aston Martin AMR-ONE LMP1 is powered by a 2.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which uses direct fuel injection, produces close to 540 bhp and has been developed especially for the car’s new carbon fiber chassis.
