Video: 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 vs 2011 BMW M3 GTS
Autocar has taken the most hardcore version M3, the 2011 BMW M3 GTS at Millbrook’s Hill Route proving ground to see if it is faster than a 2010 Porsche 911 GT3.
Here’s what both these cars are capable of : the 2011 BMW M3 GTS produces 444 bhp and 325 lb-ft of torque from its 4.4-litre V8, and thanks to its 7-speed M DCT transmission, the Bavarian coupe can rocket from nought to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and also reach a top speed of 190 mph.

Renault Twizy Price
As the 2011 edition of the Barcelona Motor Show kicked off, French automaker Renault took the opportunity to announce pricing for their two-seater, electric city car, the Twizy.
Due to go on sale at the end of 2011, the Renault Twizy (which is manufactured at te Valladolid plant in Spain) will be available with a 5 HP electric motor or with a 17 HP electric motor. The least powerful model which is called the Twizy 45 is priced at 6,990 Euros in Europe and is capable of reaching a top speed of 45 Km/h. In certain countries the Twizy 45 can be driven without needing a licence, and Renault claims that the cost of battery lease would be around 45 Euro per month.

2011 Hyundai i40 Sedan
After showing a sketch with the 2011 Hyundai i40 Sedan through a teaser published a week ago, the Korean automaker is now presenting us the real thing, as the new D segment competitor has premiered today at the Barcelona Auto Show.
Featuring a contemporary design which represents an evolution of the ‘fluidic sculpture’ language, the 2011 Hyundai i40 Sedan will enter the market in the fourth quarter of 2010, with the company planning to sell 60,000 units per year after its launch.

Mercedes Bike Selection 2011
As the weather becomes more appropriate for various outdoor activities, Mercedes is rushing to present its new bike selection for 2011.
The new products range from a full-suspension mountain bike or a high-end carbon fibre racing bike all the way to fitness bikes and kids bikes. Besides using the latest components from well known manufacturers in the bike industry (such as SRAM, Fox Racing, DT Swiss and Topeak), the new range also introduces innovative new frames and attractive designs.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS
Porsche has just released photos and details with the 911 Carrera 4 GTS, a new version that uses the same 3.8-litre 6-cylinder engine from the Carrera S and which also features all-wheel drive for enhanced traction and dynamics.
The power level however is up by 23 HP when compared to the Carrera S, thanks to the newly designed intake duct, so what this meas is that the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS produces a total of 408 HP @ 7,300 rpm and 420 Nm of torque between 4,200 and 5,600 rpm.
This upgraded engine has been combined with a sports exhaust system, and apart from the a series of modifications to the chassis, the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is now also featuring the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and a limited slip differential offered as standard.

Hamann 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring
After offering a custom package for the saloon version, the German aftermarket specialists from Hamann are back with a new series of visual upgrades, which this time target the estate.
These newly designed components also help in terms of aerodynamics, and they include a front spoiler with massive air intakes and integrated LED daytime running lights, a front spoiler lip, side sill extensions and a new diffuser skirt designed to accommodate the new four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Zagato Aston Martin Project Car Teased
Aston Martin announces a new collaboration with the Italian design house Zagato. Both companies reunited for a project car that celebrates 50 years since the DB4GT Zagato was born, which will seen for the first time at the Villa D’Este concours in Italy on May 21st.
This upcoming Zagato Aston Martin model will also have its racing debut at the Nurburgring towards the end of May, so we’ll have to wait just a little bit more until we find out the technical specifications for this DB4GT anniversary version.

Video: 2012 Mercedes C Class vs Audi A4 vs BMW 3 Series
AutoExpress has performed a group test in which it compared the newly launched 2012 Mercedes C Class with the current generation Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series, to see if it deserves the crown in the compact executive class.
So lets start with the 2012 Mercedes C Class. Apart from the barely noticeable exterior changes which have been applied to the bumpers, head lamps and taillights, the new Merc has also received a major interior upgrade comprising of higher quality materials, a new dash design, and options like a double sun roof and Internet connectivity. The engine lineup is now more powerful and more efficient, plus a 2012 C Class models come with Start Stop technology as standard.

2012 Mercedes SLK by Piecha
The German tuners from Piecha Design have launched the ‘Piecha Accurian RS’, or simply put one of the first customization programs targeting the third generation 2012 Mercedes SLK.
This sportier looking interpretation of the 2012 SLK roadster comes with a new front spoiler featuring lateral grids, new side sills combined with optional LED lights, a redesigned rear apron, a new diffuser, a boot lid lip and a custom exhaust composed from for tube mufflers.

Ford Focus ST Prototype Testing
The Blue Oval has released a trio of photos which show a prototype version of the new Ford Focus ST being tested for performance and driving dynamics.
Scheduled to enter the market in 2012 as a global performance car, the Ford Focus ST will extract power from a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine producing 250 PS (246 HP) which will also be responsible for impressively low fuel consumption figures.
