Porsche Launches Bike S and Bike RS
Porsche is launching a new range of urban bicycles which combine “high performance with ride-anywhere capability”, that are available in S, M and L sizes at the Porsche Centers across the UK.
The first is the Porsche Bike S which features the 7005 Hydroformed Aluminium frame, carbon fibre front forks, an internally-geared Shimano 11-speed Alfine hub gear system that has a double-clutch gear shift system plus Magura disc-brakes.
Hyundai i40 Saloon Price
We already know how much the Tourer costs, so it is time to find out what the Hyundai i40 Saloon price is.
According the automaker, the all new i40 Saloon, which will be sold in the UK starting from January 5th 2012, will carry a starting price tag of 17,395 GBP, and the available trim levels will be the same as on the Tourer, meaning Active, Style and Premium.
Engine options for the Hyundai i40 Saloon include a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.7 CRDi diesel rated at either 115 PS or 136P while transmission choices include manual or automatics.
2011 Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider
Renault’s sport division is launching a limited edition model called the Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider, based on their award winning hot hatch.
The car will limited to 50 exemplars in the UK, all of which include matt paintwork (with a choice between matt Stealth Grey or Diavolo Red), and contrasting gloss black features such as the roof, the rear spoiler, the F1 style front blade, the rear diffuser and the door mirrors.
The 2011 Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider will also come equipped with 18 inch ‘Interlagos’ alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone RE 050A tyres (the same tires used by the (record-breaking Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy) plus stiffer springs and dampers, a lower center of gravity and a quicker steering ratio.
2012 Honda Civic Hatchback Price
UK pricing for the 2012 Honda Civic hatchback has recently been announced, with this new generation model expected to arrive at dealerships in January.
The car, which was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show last month, is available in four trim levels (SE, ES, EX and EX GT) while the engine range will include two petrols and one i-DTEC diesel. The petrols are a 1.4 and a 1.8-litre i-VTEC rated at 100 HP and 140 HP respectively, while the diesel is a 2.2-litre developing 150 HP.
Every 2012 Honda Civic hatchback comes with with the ECON driving mode (similar to the one seen on the Jazz and Insight) which helps minimize consumption plus the Idle Stop system on the models fitted with manual gearboxes.
2012 Peugeot 4008
A second model unveiled by the PSA Peugeot-Citroen on Friday, besides the Citroen C4 Aircross, is the 2012 Peugeot 4008.
Just like the C4 Aircross, the 2012 4008 is a compact SUV/crossover that is underpinned by the Mitsubishi ASX, with this particular model measuring 4,34 m in length, 1,8 m in width and 1,63 m in height and with a wheelbase of 2,67 m.
The new Peugeot 4008 will premiere at next year’s Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in the second quarter of 2012.
2012 Citroen C4 Aircross
The French from Citroen have unveiled the 2012 C4 Aircross on Friday, with this new compact SUV scheduled to go on sale in Europe towards the end of next year.
Based on the Mitsubishi ASX, but featuring an exterior design typical to the French marque, the 2012 Citroen C4 Aircross is a car that measures 4.34 m length, 1.80 m width and 1.63 m height which wants to “introduces a sense of escape into everyday driving”.
The C4 Aircoss is also providing 442-litres worth of cargo space, while the engine range includes two petrols (110 HP 1.6-litre and a 150 HP 2.0-litre) and two diesels (a 110 1.6-litre and a 150 HP 1.8-litre).
Citroen C4 Aircross Teaser
A new model called the C4 Aircross will soon be joining the French automaker’s lineup, with the official announcement market by an initial teaser, made on Citroen’s Fecebook page.
The car will be unveiled towards the end on next week so right now there’s not much we could really say about it, but if the company will apply the same recipe used on the C3 Aricorss (available in South America) then the end-result is most likely a car featuring a raised suspension, more robust looking bumpers, roof rails that extend to the front, and numerous other protective bits of exterior trim.
SEAT Mii Leaked Photo
It was only yesterday that we published details and photos with the Skoda Citigo, the new Czech city car based on the Volkswagen up!, and today we have new info that points to another up! derivative, this time called the Seat Mii.
This first photo was leaked by the crew over at Seat Fans Club and as you can see the main feature that differentiate these three models is the front fascia which is specific to each of the brands stying philosophy.
speedART 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S
The Germans from Techart and the Russians from Top Car have already showed us that to expect from their upcoming conversions involving the 2012 Porsche 911. Today it is time to add one more German tuner to that list, and we’re talking about speedART who will add both performance and styling upgrades to the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S.
Their program will be called the SP91-R and apart from featuring a series of aerodynamic enhancements, and a set of 21 inch alloy wheels, we also expect the ‘traditional’ lowered suspension and the custom exhaust system to be added.
Maserati Kubang Video
One of the main attractions at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year was Maserati’s SUV concept, the Kubang. The automaker’s entrance in this new segment will be made with a production model based on the latest generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, on which the engine will come from Maserati and will be developed in Modena.
The concept version Maserati Kubang is once again being shown in an official video released by the Italian company last night, but if you expect to see an actual pre-production version spinning its wheels on public roads then you’ll be disappointed.
