2013 BMW 3 Series US Price
BMW USA has announced pricing for the new 2013 3 Series sedan which will arrive at dealerships across the nation in February.
This new generation model will premiere at the North American International Auto Show in January, and according to the company, the two engines that are going to be available State side are a the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TwinTurbo producing 240 HP and 352 Nm of torque in the 328i and a 3.0-litre inline-six rated at 300 Hp and 406 Nm of torque found in the 335i.
Mercedes C63 AMG BlueGreen Eliminator by Wimmer RS
Wimmer RS, one of the important players in the chip-tuning industry has introduced a new power boost program for the Mercedes C63 AMG.
Due to the increased performance and the colourful exterior finish, Wimmer calls its creation the BlueGreen Eliminator and some of the measures that have been take in order to achieve better figures include the a revised with new cylinder heads, sport camshafts and a K&N sport air filter as well as a custom manifold, a downpipe with special sport catalysts and a hand-made stainless steel exhaust system.
2012 Porsche 911 Test Drive
EVO’s Chris Harris had a change to test drive the 2012 Porsche 911, the all new Porsche 911 since 2004.
Weighting 40 Kg less than the model it replaces due to the usage of aluminium, and featuring a wider body than the last car, the new 911 feels sharper according to Harris thanks in part to its recalibrated PDK transmission and the new power steering system which is not hydraulic anymore, but electric.
Chris also thinks that Porsche has eradicated the under-steer problem from the previous generation (not completely, but around 98 percent of it) and overall the car feels like a real 911.
Mansory Audi R8 V10 Spyder
The Swiss from Mansory have informed us about their latest list of enhancements and mechanical upgrades which were this time applied to the Audi R8 V10.
We’ve seen quite a few tuning programs involving the R8, but when it comes from Mansory you known its going to be extra special.
In order to take the R8 V10 to the next level Mansory has fitted the car with numerous redesigned elements made out of carbon fiber such as the grille and the lamella bonnets, the front spoiler attachments, side skirts, rear spoiler the rear diffuser and the small rear wing.
8th Video: Nissan Juke R Handling
The 8th consecutive video following the development process and the challenges faced by Nissan’s engineers in transplanting the GT-R’s engine, drivetrain and suspension into the Juke has been published last night.
This latest mini episode talks about the Juke R’s handling, and the measures taken in order to make this crossover act like a supercar.
Some of these measures included installing a roll-cage in order to achieve enough torsional rigidity, tweaking the suspension by adapting the damping rates, fitting new springs and stiffer anti roll bars, and equipping the car with the larger brake disc package from the 2011 Nissan GT-R.
Volkswagen Passat Alltrack
Volkswagen has unveiled the new Passat Alltrack today, a model which combines the practicality of an estate with the go anywhere ability of an SUV.
According to the company, this new model closes the gap between the Passat Estate and the Tiguan, so apart from offering a roomy interior, the Alltrack is also capable of handling light off-road situations.
The new Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is going to be offered with two turbocharged direct injection petrol engines (one with 160 PS / 118 kW and the other rated at 210 PS / 155 kW) and two turbodiesels (TDI) capable of delivering 140 PS / 103 kW or 170 PS / 125 kW.
Porsche Panamera GTS Promo Video

Abarth 595 Specials, 695 Assetto Corse and Punto Scorpione
Abarth will showcase four unique models at this year’s Bologna Motor Show.
The main novelties will be the Abarh 595 Turismo and the 595 Competizione which will be heading for production and will address young buyers who want their cars to look extra sporty.
The 595 Turismo is characterized by a two-tone exterior finish (black and red), a set of 17 inch titanium-colored alloys, the Abarth logo displayed in various places and a two-tone interior that uses the same colours as the ones mentioned above.
JMS Audi S5
A new bodykit from the German tuners at JMS who this time took time to address the Audi S5 in order to transform its sporty design into an eyecatcher.
The kit consists of a new front spoiler lip (269 Euros), which is also suitable for the bumpers on the A5 S-line, Convertible, Fastback and Sportback version, a custom rear diffuser (259 Euros) and a stainless steel duplex exhaust featuring oval end pipes providing a ‘real motorsport sound’ for an extra 1,720 Euros.
Nissan Juke R Unveiled Through Photos and Videos
Nissan has finally pulled the wraps off the Juke R last week, and has dropped a series of photos and three videos that show what their ‘crazy’ performance crossover looks like inside and out.
The Juke R is a concept that tries to combine the best of two worlds, and we are talking about the “power, speed and handling of Nissan’s flagship GT-R” with the “bold, exciting design of the Juke crossover”.
The challenges faced during the development process have been detailed by Nissan in a mini-series containing 8 videos which were gradually released in the last couple of months, an now the next step is testing the Juke R, which will begin in mid-November.
