Lexus Teases New Concept Ahead of 2012 NAIAS Debut
The Japanese from Honda and Acura have already announced the novelties that are going to be seen at their stands at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, now Lexus is doing the same thing but through a teaser image which announces an upcoming concept.
This new Lexus Concept was penned at the automaker’s Calty design studio on Newport Beach, California and will showcase a new design direction embraced by Lexus for its upcoming production vehicles.

Wheelsandmore is introducing its latest tuning kit for those who think that the McLaren Mercedes SLR722 is not powerful enough, nor exclusive enough in terms of appearance.
We are not among the ones who ‘cry’ about the 650 HP offered by the standard version, but on the other hand we wouldn’t complain if those figures turned to 727 horses and 950 Nm of torque instead. And that is exactly what happened to the Wheelsandmore McLaren Mercedes SLR722 as the German aftermarket specialist have remapped its engine control unit after fitting it with a handmade exhaust, featuring sports catalysts and remote controlled flaps.
Video: 2012 Mercedes C Class Coupe Test Drive
Although its not something that is really hot off the production line, FifthGear decided to take the Mercedes C Class Coupe out for a test drive an see if all the tweaks and modifications that have been applied to it, make it an overall better car.
Just like the four door version, the C Class Coupe features nearly 2000 changes/improvements when compared to the previous model, plus the car now comes with the adaptive agility control suspension as standard.
Audi R8 GRAND-AM Daytona Testing Complete
The Germans from Audi will compete in the 2012 Daytona 24 Hours, but before actually throwing the R8 GRAND-AM into the race, it was only natural for them to test and fine-tune the car first. And what better place to do that other than the actual track on which the race will be held, the Daytona race track in Florida.
Based on the R8 LMS the car has been developed for the Touring class of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and after it completed around 1000 test kilometers, the main aspects that needed to be improved were in terms of aerodynamics due to the GRAND-AM regulations.
2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept Announced
Honda has prepared a new concept that will be showcased at the 2012 North American International Auto Show on January 10th which will point to the new styling direction of the upcoming Accord Coupe.
The Japanese car make said that the 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept will preview the dynamic and aggressive profile of the 9th generation Accord, a vehicle which will mark 30 years of US production at the Marysville Auto Plant in Marysville, Ohio.
Acura NSX, ILX Concept and RDX Facelift to Premiere at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit
Acura has just announced that it will unveil three all-new vehicles at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit in January. These vehicles include the new generation Acura NSX super car, the Acura ILX Concept and the facelift version Acura RDX crossover.
The automaker says that the ILX Concept is a design study of a luxury compact sedan which is going to hit the market in spring 2012, and it will feature three powertrains options which will also include Acura’s first-ever gas-electric hybrid.
2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe Videos

Bentley Continental GT V8
Bentley has expanded its Continental GT and Continental GTC range with V8 models which will be shown for the first time at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in January 2012.
The V8 engine found in this new versions promises an exceptional power-to-emissions ratio and is matched by a close-ratio 8-speed transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe – Photos and Details
BMW’s 6 Series line-up has just gained a third member – the 6 Series Grand Coupe which is basically a four-door coupe aimed at competitors such as the Mercedes CLS and the Audi A7.
Inspired from the Gran Coupe Concept unveiled at the China Auto Show back in 2010, this new addition to the range combines “sporty driving pleasure, elegant design, exclusive interior ambience, travel comfort and practicality” in a package that measures 5,007 mm in length, 1,894 mm in width and 2,968 mm in height.
2012 Nissan GT-R Track Pack
Nissan has added a new track focused edition to their 2012 Nissan GT-R lineup. Appropriately called the Track Pack this new street legal version is aimed towards drivers who “want an extra edge on the race track”.
On the outside the pack includes lightweight six-spoke RAYS alloys painted in black, while the brakes behind them are now featuring additional cooling ducts which helps cool down the operating temperature of the front brakes by as much as 100 degrees during track usage.
