2012 Honda CR-V Price
The Japanese automaker announced pricing for the recently introduced 2012 Honda CR-V which premiered in LA back in November.
The fourth generation model adds between 400 USD and 1000 US worth of standard features if compered to the outgoing version, and will carry a starting price tag of 22,295 USD for the range opening CR-V LX 2WD variant and 28,295 USD for the CR-V EX-L AWD. The 810 USD charge for destination and handling is not included.
UK Pricing: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and Overland Summit
Jeep has already introduced the 4×4 version 2012 Grand Cherokee in the UK five months ago, but now the North American company is offering two new variants to those living in Great Britain : the SRT8 and the Overland Summit.
These new vehicles are already available for ordering at UK dealerships, with pricing for the performance version 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 starting at 58,995 GBP and with the luxury model, the Overland Summit carrying a price tag of 44,795 GBP.
Volkswagen Caravelle Edition 25
Volkswagen’s Commercial Vehicles arm has announced the limited edition Caravelle called Edition 25.
The automaker’s passenger carrier comes with an exclusive Candy White exterior finish (Reflex Silver optimally available) and unique styling cues such as a revised front bumper with black styling accents, xenon headlights with integrated LED running lights, black highlights above the side sills and on the roof, plus 18 inch ‘Edition 25’ design alloys.
BMW X6 M50d 2nd Teaser Video
BMW has published a second teaser video with their upcoming 2012 X6 M50d, and even though this time we get a little bit of info, everything remains vague and packed with marketing phrases.
When talking about the new performance version M6, Brian Watts, BMW M GmbH Head of Global Sales and Marketing mentions that this will be ‘a new kind of car’ which ‘deserves the M badge’ considering that [when driving it] ‘on every road you feel like you’re on a race track’.
Kicherer Mercedes C63 AMG White Edition
The Germans from Kicherer have are probably getting into the Christmas spirit, because they have just announced a new tuning program for the Mercedes C63 AMG called the White Edition.
The program will be limited to 10 vehicles and it promises to enhance drivers enjoyment without sacrificing the usual comforts.
To get to the point, the Kicherer Mercedes C63 AMG White Edition was treated with a software optimisation kit which also removes the V-max limiter, and as a result the power output is now 520 bhp and 457 lb-ft of torque. In order to transfer all the power to the road safely and efficiently, the C63 AMG White Edition has also been fitted with a high-performance limited slip differential with variable slip and an individually adjustable coilover suspension system.
2013 Kia Forte Sketched
It seems like Kia is working on a successor for the Forte, because a member of the Kia-World.net community has posted something that looks like an official sketch which points to an upcoming C-segment sedan.
The person who posted this sketch mentioned that this new model will debut in 2012 as a replacement for the current Forte which has been sold in the US since 2009, so unless the Korean automaker decides to go with another name, this could only be the 2013 Kia Forte.
2012 Volvo C70 Inscription Price
Volvo North America has announced pricing for the limited edition 2012 C70 Inscription which was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show back in November.
Available from the first quarter of 2012 the unique features offered on this model are included in a package that retails for 3,900 USD. This means the the C70 Inscription will reach 44,350 USD out of which 40,450 USD represents the pricing for the standard C50 T5 (875 USD delivery fee not included).
Hyundai i-oniq Concept Teaser
The first teaser image with the Geneva Motor Show bound Hyundai i-oniq concept has hit the web.
Designed by the automaker’s Research and Development centre in Russelsheim, Germany, the i-oniq concept represents an evolution in the brand’s ‘fluidic sculputre’ language, and as with most design studies, it will give us a hint at how upcoming production models will be shaped.
2013 Mercedes SL Presentation Video
Mercedes has unveiled the latest generation SL today, 60 years after the original model has first seen the daylight.
If compared to the model it replaces, the 2012 Mercedes SL represents an evolution in terms of design, driving dynamics, engine performance and efficiency, with some of its main highlights being its full-aluminium body, its BlueDIRECT engines and its suspension which can enable sporty as well as comfortable rides.

Here are some photos and a teaser video with the Up Design Vittoria, a two-seater concept which could go into production in limited numbers.
The Up Design name comes from the company’s founder, Umberto Palermo, while the car itself is something that measures 4,750 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width and 1,250 in height, with power provided by a V8 engine for which specifications are unknown at this point.
