Jeep has already introduced the 4×4 version 2012 Grand Cherokee in the UK five months ago, but now the North American company is offering two new variants to those living in Great Britain : the SRT8 and the Overland Summit.
These new vehicles are already available for ordering at UK dealerships, with pricing for the performance version 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 starting at 58,995 GBP and with the luxury model, the Overland Summit carrying a price tag of 44,795 GBP.
The Grand Cherokee SRT8 comes with Chrysler’s 6424cc HEMI V8 which packs 470 HP and 465 lb-ft of torque and which enables a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph.  
The SRT8 features the Fuel Saver Technology which enables the V8 to function in high-fuel-economy four-cylinder when performance is not needed, plus the car comes with 45 safety and security features that include active head restrains, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and rain brake support.
As for the Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD Overland Summit version, in this case power comes from a 2987cc V6 CRD diesel capable of outputting 237 horses. The car is treated with a Rugged Brown exterior finish, a fully chromed grille, 20 inch bright, polished aluminium wheels and all the rest of the features offered on the range topping Overland model.
The interior comes with heated and ventilated seats covered in Nappa leather and with unique stitching, special floor mats, a heated, leather wrapped steering wheel, numerous wood inserts and various other premium touches.
