Volvo: 2013 will be another challenging year
The Swedish car maker Volvo had a rough year and the officials warned that the 2013 will be another challenging year for the company. Last year Volvo managed to sale only 421.951 vehicles worldwide, marking a 6.1 percent decrease from 2011. The Swedish car maker put this poor performance on the economic situation in mature markets.
Hyundai HCD-14 Concept – another rival for the Mercedes CLS and Audi A7
Hyundai has released the first teaser image of the HCD-14 concept, ahead of its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Along with this image the Korean manufacturer stated that: “The HCD-14 concept will give the automotive world a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics.”
Toyota Prius Plug-in, the best selling plug-in in UK in 2012
Sales figures announced today confirmed Prius Plug-in as the best-selling plug-in hybrid in the UK. The car achieved 470 sales from its launch date in July 2012, outselling its nearest rival, Vauxhall Ampera, despite it being on sale since April, 3 months longer than the Toyota.

Nissan has launched a new addition to the Qashqai range – the 360. Set to be the best-selling example yet of Nissan’s sector-defining crossover, the 360 sits between the Acenta and Tekna trims, replacing the n-tec+ but offering more equipment for the same £19,945 starting price.
