2014 Alfa Romeo MiTo facelift revealed with a new engine
The Italian car maker has unveiled today the 2014 MiTo facelift. The small model has received a few exterior changes and a new petrol engine. The 2014 MiTo facelift features a Giulietta inspired chrome grille with new headlight surrounds and a restyled 15 inch wheels. There is also a new body color available on the option list.
Audi Sport Quattro successor could debut this year at Frankfurt Motor Show
This year, the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro is tuning 30 and the German car maker wants to celebrate this occasion by introducing a successor at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. According to Autozeitung colleagues, the model will be sportier and more aggressive that the 2011 Quattro Concept.
The upcoming BMW 7-Series could weigh less than the actual 5-Series
According to a recent report, the upcoming generation of the BMW 7-Series will go on a massive diet. The German engineers will use for its new flagship model structure only steel, aluminum and carbon fiber. According to Autocar the entry level 740i could weigh less than today’s 5-Series model which has 1.670 kilos.
Chevrolet Sonic RS is the newest Transformers 4 member
Michael Bay, the director of the Transformers series, has published a photo with a Chevrolet Sonic RS. According to Bay’s site, this will be one of the newest member for the fourth installment in the blockbuster Transformers movie franchise. The movie will hit the theaters on June 27 next year and will come with a lot of new cars.

The world’s 30 millionth Golf has rolled off the assembly line at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg – a new production record for the most successful European car ever. Production of the original Golf began in early 1974.

Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy and author of the annual Best Global Brands report, has released its 2013 Best Global Green Brands report. The automotive sector dominates with Toyota (#1), Ford (#2), and Honda (#3) claiming the top three spots in this year’s report. Nissan (#5), Ford (#2), Nokia (#9), and UPS (#32) earn honors as the year’s top risers, and new entrants include Nestlé (#14), Kia (#37), ZARA (#48), and Colgate (#50).
Ferrari extends its museum in Maranello
President Luca di Montezemolo officially inaugurated the new Museo Ferrari in Maranello. The building, extended by over a thousand square metres and completely renovated in terms of its fittings and layout, hosts the permanent exhibition of the most significant single-seaters in the Scuderia’s history, as well as temporary exhibitions which are of interest not only to fans but also to the wider public.
Ford Focus electric begins production in Saarlouis, Germany
