The Honda Accord sedan returns mostly unchanged for 2017 after many upgrades and enhancements introduced in 2016. Available in a number of configurations (including several four-cylinder PZEV versions and a return of a hybrid), trims include LX, LX with Honda Sensing™, Sport, Sport with Honda Sensing™, Sport SE, EX, EX with Honda Sensing™, EX-L, EX-L with Navigation System and Honda Sensing™, EX-L V6, EX-L V6 with Navigation System and Honda Sensing™, and Touring V6, with many of these variations available with either a continuously variable transmission or six-speed manual. Engine selections are a direct injection 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with 181 lb.-ft. of torque and 185 hp, or a 3.5-liter V6 with 252 lb.-ft. of torque and 278 hp. Honda has reintroduced a hybrid version of the Accord sedan, available in base, EX-L and Touring trims. The new-generation two-motor hybrid drive system paired with a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson Cycle engine achieves a peak combined 212 horsepower.
