Volkswagen developing carbon fibre wheels
Forget about forged alloys or lightweight technology. Volkswagen started developing its first carbon fibre wheels with the help of ThyssenKrupp Carbon Components and Maxion Wheels. They will also build ultra-light aluminium wheels for mass market vehicles, as the carbon fibre ones will be dedicated to supercars.
2015 Ford Focus RS – 350 HP and 440 Nm peak of torque
Ford has disclosed the output numbers for the 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine that will be fitted under the hood of the 2015 Focus RS hot hatch. According to the Blue Oval, the new Ford Focus RS will deliver 350 horsepower and a rev limited of 6.800 rpm and 440 Nm peak of torque between 2.000 and 4.500 rpm.
