As you can imagine, the car will go up for auction next month and is set to be under the hammer at the RM Sotheby’s Monterey.
Chrysler will recall 1.4 million cars after a hacking incident
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has prepared a voluntary recall of 1.4 million cars in order to update the infotainment software following a high-profile hack that brought a Jeep Cherokee to a halt to a busy highway. Designed to prevent other remote manipulation of FCA cars, the software update will be able to block remote access to certain vehicle systems.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class can now be accessorized with AMG parts
Mercedes-Benz and AMG has prepared some aggressive and sporty exterior accessories for the C-Class. Those parts are compatible only with the C450 AMG Sport 4MATIC as well as the AMG Line models in the sedan body style, but the T-Modell will get these goodies before the end of the year.
1.779 seconds is the new 0 to 100 km/h acceleration record
University of Stuttgart students have managed to set a new best time in the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration. The Green Team Formula Student participants managed to sprint in 1.779 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h, beating the previous record by 0.006 seconds.
Honda Jazz UK pricing announced
Unveiled for the first time in Europe during this spring Geneva Motor SHow, the all-new Honda Jazz is ready to make its UK debut. The small segment car is already priced in the UK and will reach showrooms during this September. The Japanese hatchback will have a starting price of £13,495 on-the-road for the entry-level S model, rising to £17,425 for the flagship EX Navi CVT model.
