The Koenigsegg One:1 is a beast and it continues to tackle different tracks around the world in order to prove you what king of machinery it is. This time, the Swedish model has managed to set a new world record for a production car at the Belgian Spa-Francorchamps race track.

The car used the same Michelin tires that are put on when it goes to customers and it managed to lap the Spa-Francorchamps track in 2 minutes and 32,14 seconds. More than that, The Swedish car manufacturer explains that the noise limit of 103 dB forced them to make adjustments to the exhaust system because the car could have performed even better.

“Any improvement in a lap record is a testament to the car’s capabilities and should be celebrated, but to be honest, this feels a little more like unfinished business for us,” says the Koenigsegg officials.

This isn’t for the first time when the Koenigsegg One:1 goes around the Spa-Francorchamps. In its first attempt the clock has been stopped at 2 minutes and 33,26 seconds.
