2012 Volkswagen Beetle Review Video
AutoExpress has recently reviewed the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle, a car which tries to look more manly in order to attract new customers and which features a longer bonnet, a flatter roof line, a rear spoiler, twin exhaust pipes and even a ‘turbo badge’.
When compared to the previous generation, the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is a car that handles much better, especially in the top spec version which costs 25,000 GBP and is basically a VW GTI underneath, due to its 2.0-litre turbo plant. The new Beetle however comes with a different suspension, but its performance figures are still comparable to the GTI’s, considering that nought to 62 mpg takes 7.5 seconds, while its top speed is 139 mph.
Top Gear Season 17 Episode 6 Video

2012 Honda Civic preview
Honda is offering a preview of the European version, 9th generation Civic ahead of its official debut scheduled at the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall.
The automaker says the 2012 Honda Civic will be “more confident, clever and versatile” and apart from offering “stand-out looks” it will also have “class leading space for passengers and luggage”.
BMW i3 Concept Unveiled
Besides the i8 the German company has also unveiled the BMW i3 today, a rear wheel-drive electric hatchback with zero emissions which was initially called the MegaCity and which will also be shown in Frankfurt this fall.
The BMW i3 is based on a lightweight architecture which makes use of both aluminium and carbon fiber reinforced plastic, and underneath the car’s body, the automaker has placed the Drive module which incorporates the battery, the suspension and the drivetrain.
BMW i8 Concept
The Bavarian automaker has officially unveiled the BMW i8 and i3 today, though numerous photos and video that describe the technology behind these green concepts, which will be seen in the flesh at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Both the BMW i8 and the i3 make use of electrical engines but use different propulsion methods, which we will describe in separate articles.
Anderson Germany Maserati GranTurismo
Anderson Germany’s latest creation involves the Maserati GranTurismo S which has been turned into a stealthy looking machine now called the Superior Black Edition.
The Dusseldorf based tuner has covered the GranTurismo S in a silky matt coating, while the rests of the elements, like the headlights and tail lamps, window frames, front grill and rear logo have also received a darkening treatment.
2013 Infiniti JX 4th Teaser
Infiniti has published their 4th teaser which unveils yet another section of the upcoming 2012 JX crossover.
In case you need to be reminded, the 2012 Infiniti XJ is a seven-seater luxury crossover which is scheduled to premiere on August 18th at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
Infiniti announced that it will play with our feelings over the course of 7 teasers before it will release full details and photos related to the 2012 XK, so this means there are three more teasers to go.

ABT Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift
ABT decided to enhance Germany’s best selling versatile compact car, the Volkswagen Tiguan facelift, with a custom package that targets both appearance and performance.
Starting with the visual upgrades, the ABT Volkswagen Tiguan facelift features a new front grille, custom door strip attachments, a redesigned rear skirt which also accommodates the exhaust system and a rear wing. The car has also been fitted with a set of light alloy wheels, which can range from 18 to 20 inch and new suspension springs which help maximize stability at high speeds.
