Merdad 2012 McLaren MP4 12C
It was only natural for the first tuning program involving the 2012 McLaren MP4 12C to come from a British tuner. They are called Merdad and they have named their project the MehRon GT.
The car will be showcased in Frankfurt starting from next week, and as these initial images show, the car has been visually enhanced to appear even more aggressive due to modified front section which is now wider and features new air intakes and a new spoiler lip, while the rear fender has pretty much received the same treatment, meaning it is wider and therefor it looks more muscular.

Ducati Diavel AMG
Ducati and Mercedes AMG have worked together in creating a special edition bike based on the Italian brand’s 2012 flagship model, the Diavel Carbon.
Dubbed the Duciati Diavel AMG, the bike marks last year’s announcement of a cooperation involving the two companies, with this first co-inspired model combining various unique styling features from both marques.
The Ducati Diavel AMG comes with AMG inspired 5-spoke design wheels, carbon fiber lateral radiator grills highlighted by aluminium trim, an AMG style horizontally ribbed seat and a sport exhaust system featuring engraved end pipes with the AMG lettering.

Skoda Mission L Concept
During this year’s IAA in Frankfurt, the Czech automaker Skoda will present the Mission L, a concept which is basically a five-door hatchback which could point to the new generation Octavia.
The Skoda Mission L Concept could also preview a new C-segment model part of the automaker’s plans for the global market, but before we start speculating too much, lets wait for the official details which should also mention the technical aspects of this car, once its debuts on September 13th in Germany.

2012 Alpina B6 Turbo Convertible
The latest Aplina enhanced model which will make visitors at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show dream with their eyes open is the 2012 Alpina B6 Turbo Convertible.
Based on the new BMW 6 Series Convertible, this tuned version extracts power from a optimised 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that is able to unleash 507 HP and 700 Nm (516.3 lb-ft) of torque between 3,000 and 4,750 rpm via an 8-speed automatic Switch Tronic gearbox.
When the rear wheels start spinning from a stand still ,the 2012 Alpina B6 Turbo Convertible is reportedly able to reach the 100 kmph speed in 4.8 seconds while the maximum speed it can achieve is 311 Km/h.

Review Video: Mini Cooper SD
FifthGear has reviewed one of the latest additions the the Mini lineup, the Mini Cooper SD, a car designed to be fun and fast like the Cooper S but frugal like the Cooper D.
Fitted with a 2.0-litre turbo diesel, the biggest engine ever fitted o an a Mini, the Cooper SD produces 143 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, and its pricing starts at 18,750 GBP which means it costs 750 GBP more expensive than the Cooper S and 2,700 GBP more than the Copper D.

2011 Ford Mustang by Design World
Design World, a tuner based in Sundern, Germany has developed a series of upgrades for the 2011 Ford Mustang.
Their attention was aimed at the 5.0-litre V8 version equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, to which they revised the engine software and added a new air filter featuring an air box.
Instead of producing 412 HP, the 2011 Ford Mustang by Design World is now unleashing 435 HP, so in order to better cope with the extra horses the American musclecar has also received various H&R badged suspension tweaks and a set of 20 inch alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires size 255/35ZR20 at the front and 285/30ZR20 at the rear.

Eterniti Hemera Teased from Above
Here is another teaser with the upcoming Eterniti Hemera, ‘the world’s first super SUV’ created by independent, boutique British luxury carmaker Eterniti Motors in order to address the growing demand for Cayenne like models.
This time the Eterniti Hemera is seen from above, and some of its features include a vented engine bonnet, a rear roof spoiler and muscular wheel arches. We can also partially see the design of the headlights and taillights.

Citroen Tubik Concept Van
Citroen will bring a ‘highly innovative concept’ at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show called the Tubik which draws inspiration from the Type H van sold from 1948.
According to the automaker this new Citroen Tubik Concept van focused on the fun of the journey, and it does that by offering a high level of modularity combined with various entertainment technologies. Characterised by its unique interior/exterior design, the Tubik can accommodate up to 9 passengers thanks to its three rows of seats which can be arranged in many different ways.

Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel new pics and details
With only a few days left until the 2011 Motor Show in Frankfurt will officially open, Inifiniti decided to release more details and a few extra photos with their “perfect high-performance Crossover”, a concept based on the FX, “designed by, and built for, Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel”.
The Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel version will not only look better than the standard model, but it will also be lighter, more aerodynamic, and ultimately faster. In fact Infiniti claims the special version, which has been developed with the German Autobahn in mind will be capable of reaching a top speed of 300 Km/h.

Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Diesel
The Japanese from Nissan have revised their top selling crossover, the Qashqai along with the Qashqai+2 range for which they now offer a new 1.6-litre diesel engine.
This new four-cylinder turbo-diesel replaces the 2.0 dCi manual and delivers 130 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque from 1,750 rpm. Nissan claims the new Quashqai is now 31 percent more fuel efficient 62.8mpg (+14.9mpg)/ UK rating, and has improved its emissions to 129 grammes per Km.
