Prior Design Mercedes E Class W212 Aero Kit
A second kit recently launched by Prior Design, apart from the one addressing the 5 Series F10, is one which enhances the Mercedes E Class W212 aerodynamically.
This kit comprises from a new front bumper, custom side skirts and a revamped rear section which now features a small diffuser that integrates the four chrome exhaust tips.
Prior Design 2011 BMW 5 Series F10
The 2011 BMW 5 Series also codenamed the F10 has received one of Prior Design’s first body kits. The tuner wanted to give the new 5 Series a sportier appearance, that is why they have developed a number of components that fit all standard models except the M5.
The kit includes a front add-on spoiler, a new set of side skirts, a small rear diffuser which accommodates the M3 style quad exhaust, plus a small carbon fiber roof spoiler.
Mercedes S 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC Declared Greenest in Their Class
Germany’s Oko-Trend Institute for Environmental Research Bergisch University of Wuppertal has declared the Mercedes S 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and the ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC the most environmentally friendly cars in their class.
OkoTrend has published an environmental ranking for cars on an annual basis since 1997, and before reaching their conclusions, they go through tens of thousands of data relating to around a thousand car models in twelve categories. The data is related to vehicle consumption, emissions, manufacturing, logistics, recycling and environmental systems.
Subaru at 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon
Subaru announced its vehicle lineup for the upcoming 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon which will kick off between January 13 and 15.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is co-hosted with NAPAC (Japan Car Parts and Aftermarket Promotion Association) and will take place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture.
Subaru’s exhibition for this event will include the BRZ STI Concept, the BRZ Black Edition and the Impreza G4 STI Concept based on the new Impreza G4 2.0i-S sedan.
2012 Chrysler 300 Luxury Edition
The North American car maker has introduced a new V6 option to their Chrysler 300 range, and in this case the car will be called the Luxury Series and will join the other range topping versions meaning the 300C / 300S Executive Series and the also new 300C Luxury Series.
The 2012 Chrysler 300 Luxury Edition starts at 40,145 USD and generates 292 horses from a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 which shreds the rear tires via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Those who prefer the all-wheel-drive platform will have to pay an additional 2,350 USD, while those looking for something a bit more powerful there is the 300C Luxury Series which starts at either 42,895 USD or 45,245 USD, depending if its RWD or AWD, and delivers 363 HP from its 5.7-liter HEMI V8.

Schmidt Revolution Golf V GTI
The Germans from Schmidt Revolution have prepared a tuning program for the fifth generation Volkswagen Golf GTI and its 2.0-litre TFSI engine.
The company has optimised its software through a chip tuning kit from STO and modified its intake system in order to increase its 200 horses to 275 HP. The Golf V GTI has also been fitted with a custom rear apron, a new travelling gear from AP and a Kenwood navigation system.

Autocar is yet to complete a comprehensive road test with the flashy Lamborghini Aventador, but until that happens, they published a video in which we get the idea of what the Italians have achieved this time.
The Brits have set up a drag race in which the Aventador accelerates side by side with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the SLS AMG, models which are around 80,000 GBP cheaper than the Aventador.
2012 Honda Crosstour gets 2.4 liter 192 HP engine
The new range Accord Crosstour which will be simply called the Crosstour in 2012, will go on sale next month.
Besides getting a shorter name, the new range which will be available in two trim levels (Crosstour EX and Crosstour EX-L) will also get a new engine, a 2.4-litre i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder engine delivering 192 HP at 7,000 rpm and 162 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 rpm.
