2012 Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic Facelift
Renault has published a set of new photos with the facelifted 2012 Scenic and Grand Scenic. Europe’s number one compact MPV range comes with a refreshed appearance, upgrade materials and finishes inside the cabin plus two new engines.
Both the short version (the Scenic) and the long-wheelbase version (the Grand Scenic) received redesigned front lights and wings, a new front bumper and bonnet plus a new A pillar, with the Scenic looking a bit more sportier due the extensive usage of chrome, while the Grand Scenic features more horizontal lines.
Lexus Super Bowl Commercial Teaser
Lexus is announcing its first ever Super Bowl commercial through a teaser video that is part of a 30 seconds spot which will be aired during the first half of the game on February 5.
Lexus decided to make its presence felt at this year’s Super Bowl due to the fact that it “is poised to be one of the fastest-growing luxury brands this year” and in order to bring some extra awareness, the company has also launched a socially-fueled game in collaboration with NBCSports.com called TweetDrvie Engineered by Lexus.
Audi Super Bowl Spot to feature 2013 Audi S7
At this year’s 2012 Super Bowl XLVI Audi will show a 60 seconds spot that will highlight their Signature LED technology and the 2012 Audi S7.
The ad will air during the first quarter of the 2012 Super Bowl which will kick off on February 5th, with the story theme behind it remaining undisclosed at this point.
Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer, Audi of America said that “With LED, there’s no mistaking an Audi. Since pioneering the technology nearly ten years ago, LED lights have established the Audi persona have become one of the most recognizable features on the road,” “Like our LEDs, this year’s Super Bowl spot will be unmistakably Audi”.

Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster Driving Impressions
British automotive journalists have started testing the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. Some of them, like Autocar for example, judge the car in comparison with the Gullwing version, others, like the ones from EVO appreciate it for what it is without attempting to suggest that you should prefer one over the other.
Just like on the hard-top model, power on this Roadster version comes from a 6.3-litre V8 that sends 563 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque to the wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The Brits appreciate the fact that Mercedes did a great job in making the Roadster stiffer in order to compensate for the missing roof, with Autocar even claiming that the soft-top convertible is slightly better than the Gullwing version.
Top Gear Season 18 Trailer
The boys will be back ! We are talking about Hammond, May and Clarkson who will return to the screen on January 29 at 8pm on BBC2 with another season of automotive stunts, crazy missions, comparison tests etc. for our viewing pleasure.
BBC has already published the first trailer video that gives as a hint of what to expect to see in the Top Gear Season 18. Some of Top Gear’s entertainment pieces will include Richard Hammond getting involved in NASCAR racing, James May lapping the TG test track in a plane and Jeremy Clarkson driving a Jaguar XF past an exploding caravan.

The Brits from Autocar have driven the Ford Focus Zetec S, the sportiest version Focus available on the market at this point, until the arrival of the ST model.

Shelby Cobra Crash at 130 mph
Here is a terrifying incident that was registered by an on-board GoPro camera placed inside a Shelby Cobra.
The whole thing took place at the Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California where the owner of a Shelby Cobra had a close encounter with death when something in the vehicle’s suspension or steering broke while he was going 130 miles per hour.
Audi A6 Allroad Quattro UK Price
The new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro was unveiled less than a week ago, and as the third generation model is getting ready to hit the UK market, the automaker decided to release the appropriate pricing details.
Order books for the new A6 Allroad will start in February and the car is available with three inital engine choices which include a 3.0-litre TFSI with 310 PS and 440 Nm of torque, a 3.0-litre TDI producing 204 PS and 450 Nm and second 3.0-litre TDI rated at 245 PS and 580 Nm.

speedART is previewing its latest invention called the SP91-R, a kit full of modifications which apply to both the 2012 Porsche Carrera and Carrera S.
This kit will be released at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, and here is what it will contain:
