2013 GMC Acadia and Acadia Denali
GM unveiled the 2013 GMC Acadia and Acadia Denali today in Chicago, with the new generation crossovers featuring revised exterior features, further refined interiors and upgraded equipment.
Some of the new exterior features on the Acadia include a chiseled, three-bar grille, newly designed bumpers, LED headlamps, revised taillights, a wrap-around rear glass, and new 18, 19 and 20 inch wheels with fresh patterns.
At the interior the 2013 GMC Acadia received upgraded soft-touch materials with French stitching as well as red ambient lighting across the dashboard.
2012 Porsche 911 Price for US
The 7th generation Porsche 911 is now available at dealerships across the US, but before you start heading to one you should find out how much it costs first.
Redesigned from the ground up, the 2012 Porsche 911 is described as being longer, lower, wide, lighter (- 100 lbs), faster and more efficient than the previous model, and available with two powering options.
These options consist of a 350 HP 3.4-litre boxer engine fitted inside the Carrera, along with a 3.8-litre boxer developing 400 HP offered under the Carrera S badging. These two versions take 4.4 and 4.1 seconds respectively to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph, with their track measured top speeds reaching 179 and 188 mph.
2013 Acura ILX Sedan and RDX Crossover Debut in Chicago
The production versions 2013 Acura ILX and 2013 Acura RDX have been presented at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show today, so the automaker has published fresh photos with their new generation sedan and crossover and has also announced the engine options available for the two models.
The 2013 Acura ILX will offer customers the possibility of choosing between three engines, a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder unit rated at 150 HP and 190 Nm of torque for the entry level version which enables 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway, a 2.4-litre unit producing 201 HP and 230 Nm of torque for the range topping model (20/29 mpg city/highway) and a 1.5-litre unit coupled to an electric motor.
2013 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatch
Apart from the Coupe, the second model unveiled by Hyundai in Chicago today is the 2013 Elentra GT.
The Elantra GT is a 5-door hatch based on the i30 that focuses on efficiency and economy, which will compete against the Ford Focus, Mazda3 and VW Golf. According to the Korean company, the GT weights less and is more aerodynamic than its rivals, plus it offers more interior space and lower consumption figures.
Hyundai Elantra Coupe 2013
Hyundai has unveiled the Hyundai Elantra Coupe at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show today, a version which intends to attract even more buyers to the Elantra line-up.
The 2013 Elantra Coupe is a continuation of the ‘fluidic design language’ and some of its highlights include a 1.8-litre ‘Nu’ generation Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) engine, in-house developed 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, and standard features such as VSM, ESC, TCS, ABS with Brake Assist and EBD.
Opel Vauxhall RAD e Concept heading to Geneva
Opel which sells under the Vauxhall name in the UK announced their premieres for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Apart from the world premieres of the Mokka SUV and the Astra VXR, the company will also unveil the Vauxhall/Opel RAD e concept, a futuristic e-bike which will complement the brand’s e-mobility strategy.
The RAD e is a bike built around automotive construction and production principles, and it will be described by boomerang shaped features associated with the Ampera and RAK e concept. The RAD e will be equipped with a 250 watt motor which will give the rider motorised support when pedaling, and will enable a range of between 37 to 90 mph.

It seems like Europe is dealing with one of the worst winters in years, as most of the countries around the continent experienced heavy snowfall, extremely low temperatures and everything else that is associated with that, meaning slippery roads, reduced visibility and lots of motorists involved in serious or less serious crashes.

2013 Nissan 370Z Facelift
Nissan decided to offer a preview of the facelift version 2013 370Z ahead of its public premiere at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
The list of updates are quite discrete and includes a slightly modified front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights, a red reflector added to the rear, revised 18 and 19 inch wheels, red painted brake calipers, a dark finish fuel gauge and Euro tuned shock absorbers.
Some of the updates which we just mentioned only apply to the model equipped with the Sport Package, while all models now get two new exterior colours (Magma Red and Midnight Blue).
2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible Revealed Debuts in Chicago
The Blue Oval has presented the hard top version 2013 Shelby GT500 at the LA Auto Show last year, and now they are using this year’s edition Chicago Auto Show (which will open it’s doors to the general public on February 10th) to debut the Convertible variant.
The American automaker says the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible is marking the company’s Special Vehicles Team’s (SVT) 20th anniversary, so in order to honor that, the car will be equipped with a commemorative lighted sill plate.
2012 Fiat Panda Price for UK
Fiat UK announced prices for the new generation Panda which going on sale across Great Britain at the end of February.
The new 5-door Panda is available with a choice of three engines, a 69bhp 1.2-litre petrol, a 85bhp 0.9-litre TwinAir, and a 75bhp 1.3-litre MultiJet 2 turbodiesel, all of which are Euro 5 compliant and can be ordered under the Pop, Easy and Lounge trims.
