Fisker has published a design sketch teaser for the upcoming Nina sedan ahead of its world premiere at the 2012 New York Auto Show next month.
2013 Mercedes SL500 Review
Autocar are among the first who tested the 2013 Mercedes SL, a vehicle which comes with many new features if compared to the previous generation.
Just to mentioned a few of those features, the new SL range is based on an all new platform, it is the first Mercedes to get an all aluminium body shell, it comes with a folding hard-top made from magnesium, an adaptive windscreen wipe/wash system and engines which claim to have improved efficiency by up to 30 percent.
World Record: 75 Cars Simultaneously Doing Donuts
The previous world record of 57 cars simultaneously doing donuts, which was set in Australia, has been broken.
The record was beaten by a total of 75 drifters who pulled the same kind of stunt at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California last week, in vehicles than ranged from American muscle cars (we spotted quite a few Mustangs) to Japanese models such as the Nissan 180 SX or the Mazda 7.
Cadillac CTS-V vs Mercedes E63 AMG
Motortrend has tested two estates designed for families who like to go fast – the Cadillac CTS-V and the Mercedes E63 AMG, in order to find out which of these two is better.
It turns out the Merc is better overall but you might draw your own conclusion especially when taking into account that the CTS-V is almost 30,000 USD cheaper than the E63 AMG Estate which starts at 94,075 USD.
Renault Fluence Black Edition Revealed
After launching Black Edition versions of the Laguna and Koleos, Renault decided its time to introduce a Black Edition version Fluence.
The Renault Fluence Black Edition comes with the same special features as the above mentioned models, meaning metallic paint, 17 inch diamond-effect alloy wheels, unique bumpers, a gloss black diffuser, body-coloured side mouldings and chromed window trim, door handles, boot trim and exhaust pipe.
2013 Scion FR-S Price
Toyota announced pricing for the 2013 Scion FR-S.
The company’s rear-wheel drive sports car will start at 24,200 USD if it comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, and at 25,300 USD if it features a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters and rev-match technology.
Citroen DS9 Spotted Undisguised
We don’t know why Citroen has started to tease the new DS9 on Facebook a few days ago, because it looks like they didn’t put too much effort in keeping the car secret until its official world debut at this year’s Beijing Motor Show.
We say that because the automaker decided to take the Citroen DS9 for a photoshoot in the middle of Paris, (at Place de la Concorde), making it easy for anyone with a camera to take pictures of it. At least that is what the French from Automobile did, enabling us to see the upcoming premium model completely uncovered.
2014 Chevrolet Impala and 2013 Traverse Teasers
GM decided to tease the upcoming 2014 Chevrolet Impala full-size sedan and the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse family-friendly crossover ahead of their world debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
Chris Perry, vice president of Global Chevrolet Marketing stated that “The momentum at Chevrolet continues to build with the debut of the 10th generation of the Impala, one of the brand’s most enduring and cherished nameplates,” “The new Impala further strengthens Chevrolet’s passenger car lineup by giving consumers a full-size sedan that balances the desire for distinction with engaging driving dynamics.”
2013 Mercedes GLK Facelift Revealed
Daimler has officially unveiled the facelifted Mercedes GLK today, a model which comes with relatively modest design changes, higher quality materials, fully revised trims and new infotainment systems.
The most notable changes on the outside include a new front bumper, headlights that incorporate LEDs, redesigned alloys (available in 17, 19 and 20 inch sizes), slightly different taillights and a new rear skirt that integrates the dual exhaust pipes.
Hartge BMW 525d xDrive
After they increased performance on models such as the 1M Coupe and the X3 F25, the Germans from Hartge have turned their attention to the 5-Series F10.
In this case the kit applies to the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine inside the 525d and 525d xDrive variants which produces 218 HP (160 kW) at 4,400 rpm and 450 Nm between 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm as standard.
