The previous world record of 57 cars simultaneously doing donuts, which was set in Australia, has been broken.
The record was beaten by a total of 75 drifters who pulled the same kind of stunt at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California last week, in vehicles than ranged from American muscle cars (we spotted quite a few Mustangs) to Japanese models such as the Nissan 180 SX or the Mazda 7.
Even though the world record braking attempt took place in a controlled environment, it looks like the challenge was to prevent cars from hitting eachother while spinning, especially with all that tire smoke up in the air.
