Toyota i-Road to join the Japanese urban transport
Toyota has announced the introduction of the i-Road personal mobility concept to the “Ha:mo†urban transport system trials. The concept, which made its world debut at 2012 Geneva motor show, will be used alongside existing Toyota COMS personal mobility vehicles from early 2014.

Ford installs its 500.000th 6.7 liter engine
Ford, America’s truck leader, announced the installation of its 500,000th 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbocharged diesel engine, which went into a new 2014 Ford Super Duty F-350 Lariat pickup truck. The engine was installed yesterday at Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville.

2014 Kia Sorento receives 5 stars in NHTSA tests
Kia America top-selling CUV, the redesigned 2014 Sorento, has earned the highest possible overall safety rating – five stars – from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The new Sorento was recognized for its outstanding performance in frontal and side impact crash tests, as well as high marks in rollover testing.

Kia Carens awarded 5 stars in EuroNCAP safety tests
The all-new Kia Carens compact MPV has been awarded a maximum five-star safety rating by Europe’s leading road safety organisation, Euro NCAP.

Qoros 3 Sedan scores 5 stars in EuroNCAP crash tests
In a historic result for a Chinese manufacturer, Qoros’ first production vehicle, the compact (C-segment) Qoros 3 Sedan, has been awarded the maximum five-star rating in the Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) crash tests. Qoros is the first international brand headquartered in China to produce a car awarded five stars by Euro NCAP.

2014 Lexus IS-F starts at 63.350 euro
When it arrived for model year 2008, the IS F not only shook up the status quo among high-performance sport sedans, but also foreshadowed the brand’s LFA supercar, which recently completed a 500-unit run. The same passion for performance continues to define the IS F, which for 2014 remains on a thoroughly optimized version of the 2nd-generation IS platform. The French guys from Venturi have unveiled the brand new VBB-3 EV. The event took place at the Wendover Airfield in Utah, USA with the assistance of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

BMW 1-Series Sedan to debut in 2017
A recent report about BMW is suggesting that the German car manufacturer is working on a sedan version of the 1-Series. Dubbed New Entry-level Sedan (NES), the car will be released to compete against the Audi A3 Sedan and Mercedes-Benz CLA.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class will run in BTCC
The guys from Ciceley Racing have announced that in the 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship they will run with a modified Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The German model will enter in competition next year in March and behind the wheels will be Adam Morgan, former Ginetta GT Supercup Champion.
