The German car maker has published a new set of photos together with additional detais reffering to their new range 2011 Volkswagen Touran models which includes the fuel efficient 1.6-litre TDI BlueMotion.
The 2011 Volkswagen Touran BlueMotion is 27 percent more fuel efficient comparing to the previous generation as it needs less than 4.6-litres of fuel per 100 Km (in a combynded cycle). Besides the new sophisticated technologies, factors that enable such low fuel consumption figures are the smaller capacity engine and the MPV’s improved aerodynamics.
The the 1.6-litre 105 PS (77 kW) engine powering the 2011 Volkswagen Touran BlueMotion has CO2 emissions of 121 g per Km while on the 1.2-litre TSI version which needs 6.4
litres per 100 km CO2 emissions are of 149 g per Km.
