Fiat is looking to increase the appeal of its Tipo model with the introduction of a new special trim, called Street.
Fiat builds one of the most iconic cars in the world: the 500. But it also has a range with old names, that helped the brand sale cars for more than 30 years. The best exemple is Tipo, a car that reaches now its 30th anniversary. On the 26 January, 1988 the Fiat Tipo was born. The successor to the Fiat Ritmo, the original Tipo conquered the C-segment.
After we saw the Fiat Aegea, during last year Istanbul Motor Show, we now meet the all new Fiat Tipo. Which is practically the same car. The Italian manufacturer announced today it will sell its new compact sedan under the Tipo name in all Europe. The Aegea name will be used only in Turkey, where the project name turned out to be so successful that it was decided to keep it for the car as well.
