Skoda has unveiled this year a lot of new and redesigned models. But the surprises don’t end here. A recent report about Skoda is telling that the Mlada Boleslav based manufacturer is developing two new crossovers.

According to the report, the first one will be a seven seater and it could be seen in 2015. It will be built on the MQB platform and its base will be the production form of the Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept.

"A seven-seater is the most logical route from our customers’ point of view. If we do SUVs, they should be typical Skodas, with lots of space. In this respect a 5+2 layout works perfectly", said Dr. Frank Welsch in an interview for our colleagues from Auto Express.

More than that, the same report is suggesting that Skoda will launch a rebadged version of the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun. The rumors said it will be called CitySUV and it will be based on the Citigo platform.
