AutoExpress is providing us with their first impressions on the MNI Roadster after they driven the test version fitted with the manual roof and told us what they think in comparison with the big-selling Mazda MX-5.
The actual model reviewed by the British journalists in this video is the MINI Cooper S Roadster, which comes with 1.6-litre turbo under the hood capable of generating around 180 HP and priced at little over 20,000 GBP.
Even though it might not be the more purer driver’s car as the rear-wheel-drive Mazda MX-5, the MINI Copper S Roadster is still loads of fun, it features pin sharp steering, and unlike the Japanese model, it has a boot with a 240-litre capacity.
The MINI Roadster’s suspension is quite firm, which means you will be shaken around the cabin when rolling on bad surfaces, but the fact that the range starts at just over 18,000 GBP is certainly something that makes up for it.
