Renault will introduce the 1.5 dCi 110 hp in current Captur range, wanting to boost the appeal of the small SUV even for those looking for a "torquier" car. The new engine is introduced with the help of Captur Pure special edition, available only on the French market.

Drivetrain

Compared with the dCi 90, this new engine brings the Renault Captur a power boost of 20hp, along with an extra 40 Nm of torque.

Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the Captur dCi 110 reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill two seconds faster. Even so, its homologated combined-cycle fuel consumption stands at just 3.7 litres/100km (63 mpg), equivalent to CO2 emissions of 98g/km.

Captur Pure edition

The new Renault Captur Pure edition will be produced in 1000 units and will feature bespoke roof decals and specific door mirror housings, Cassiopee Grey with an Etoile Black roof, while ”Pure” badging is visible on the wings. The cabin of the numbered limited-edition version features leather upholstery (dark charcoal and smoke grey), along with numbered Pure door-sill badging and carpet mats.
