Complete podium lockout for Volkswagen at the 2010 Dakar Rally, as the TDI powered Race Touareg prototypes have won first, second and third place at the end of the toughest competition in motorsport. On the 14th and final rally day, after covering 202 Km, the winning team was Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz (E/E) who finished with only 2 minute and 12 seconds ahead of the second Volkswagen team – Nasser Al-Attiyah and Timo Gottschalk (Q/D).
